It was a hard fought contest, but someone had to win. And they did! Last week, team <various Smashmouth lyrics> came in second. After a week's rest, they came back and stormed into first as Call Your CongressPerson. Team # (that would be hashtag) made it a close game, but couldn't quite make up a round 6 deficit. And Get Outta Here Ghost! got third place. In this week's drinking round, Our Drinking Team has a Trivia Problem lived up to its name by winning shots for the table.

King Trivia celebrated Betty White's birthday with another hard fought contest. It stayed close this week until the last round with the lead shifting back and forth thanks to a round six double, but Larry King Trivia (no relation) was our victor, taking home the $75 prize! Our second place team morphed through a variety of Smashmouth lyrics for the team name, leading to some head-scratching on my part, but a late run put them in second. Third place See Ya... is a long time King Trivia participant who needed a new venue. Welcome aboard! And shout out to Tequila Mockingbird, a favorite team name of mine (I was an English major).

Look forward to next week when we MAKE TUESDAY NIGHTS GREAT AGAIN!
