QUIZ RECAP

It was a full house at Founders Ale House tonight as 12 teams joined us for King Trivia!

All of the teams got off to a strong start in round 1 as they answered some General Knowledge questions, and in honor of the looming Awards Season, round 2 had teams identifying the person with multiple Oscar nominations yet no wins for our Picture round.

Round 3 was real festive as teams answered questions all about holiday sweets, and they all did excellent in round 4 as they guessed the famous musician we were looking for for our Guess Who round.

Some fun answers came out in round 5 as teams tried to Find the Connection, and they had their world knowledge put to the test in round 6 as they matched the U.S. state to the country closest to it population-wise in our Matching round.

After our final round in which teams had to name the 10 musical artists with the highest grossing concert films, the team 0% won first place, with First Timers winning second and Anthony Edward’s PR Team winning third!

The holidays are a perfect time to gather close with friends, family, and loved ones... and absolutely school them in a game of King Trivia! And with questions about everything from girl cake bosses to automotive makes to trivia about trivia, tonight's game put our teams through their paces! Congratulations to prestige worldwide on their victory, and to the teams that tied for 2nd: Where Is the Fire? (who won the tiebreaker) and 680 Deferred!

Tonight's Matching Round will long live in the minds of our teams. The whispers are already reverberating through the halls of trivia history: was the Wicked Witch of the West melted... or moistened? The distinction melted the minds of many a competitor - and melted the scores of many a team that tried to double, only to suffer the consequences! But several teams also remebered their Raiders of the Lost Ark trivia, and saved their scores from an early demise! Congratulations to our 3 winners, all of them new to the Tuesday Trivia Throwdown: Balcony in 1st, 3 Taurus Town taking 2nd, and  Merry Crisis claiming 3rd!
