Troop Beverly Hills Adjacent (pictured second) started out strong tonight, with two successful double downs in the very beginning. Then they put Russia instead of the Soviet Union as one of their answers in round 3 and wrecked their momentum. A lot of people were upset with my strict ruling on that answer. I stand by it though. In High School I answered Russia instead of the Soviet Union for a specific Cold War question and got it wrong so why should I be so lenient now that I am a Quizmaster? Ya'll can blame my 11th grade history teacher for my bitterness. Congratulations to the Ancient Geezers (pictured first) for their win! Also, props to Interrobang Gang (pictured third) for their constant energy!

QUIZ RECAP
There were not a lot of successful double downs tonight. In fact, there was only one, and it didn't happen until the last round. Interrobang Gang (pictured first) nailed the naming of the 5 original X-Men from issue #1 as well as the 5 original colors of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. That 20 points gave them the strong finish they needed to secure first place. Cheater, Cheater PSL Eater (pictured second) was in the zone tonight as well! The third place finisher started off slow but by the third round they were moving and grooving their way to the winner's circle. They were fighting with the Ancient Geezers (pictured third) for that $25 bar credit but the Geezers kept on keepin' on and locked in second place at the end of the 7th round. It was a fun night for sure! Even Nolan's mom showed up! See ya'll next week!

Founders was buzzing tonight! Everyone was ready to flex their brain muscles and win some beer money! White Dwarf was out to defeat the notorious Ancient Geezers and stayed tied with them all the way until the 5th round. Pretty impressive for a one man team; you go White Dwarf! Ancient Geezers (pictured second) did gain the upper hand over White Dwarf but at the same exact moment, The Hammer of Glory caught up to the Geezers. The Geezers had to stay perfect to keep the Hammer of Glory from stealing their $75 bar credit. From the 5th round on, the Hammer of Glory matched every point the Geezers put up, leading to another tie ending at Founder's Ale House. With Look What You Made Us Do clinching third place, it was between the Geezers and The Hammer of Glory for first. I asked a timed tie breaker question asking for the length (in seconds) of Beyonce's "Single Ladies" song. In the speedy tie breaker, Hammer of Glory guessed 4 seconds higher than the actual length of the song, while the Geezers were well underneath it. Thus securing the Geezer's $75 bar credit.
