A bunch of fresh faces in Founders tonight, as well as a very competitive game!  At the end of the sixth round, there were three teams tied for second.  In fact, there were six teams all within 3 points of each other heading into the final round.  The last round decided it all.  I asked to name 10 of the 11 countries in the Western Hemisphere that shared a border with at least 1 or 2 countries.  Troop Beverly Hills Adjacent (pictured first) only had to name 7 of the countries to clinch first place since they already had the lead in the sixth round.  Master of None (pictured second) named 8 of the countries to secure second place.  The third place team, The Big Table, also named 7 of the countries.  I thought there would have been a tie breaker round due to all the close scores but round number 7 took care of it all.  Congrats to all the winners and thanks for coming out!

Jesus Christ, it's a new winner!  The team "Jesus Christ, It's Jason Bourne" (JCIJB pictured 1st) sprinted towards the finish line with the top teams at Founders.  The Ancient Geezers (pictured 3rd) and Master of None (pictured 2nd) were both doing their best to keep the newcomer from taking the $75 bar credit prize.  After JCIJB successfully doubled down in the sixth round, there was nothing anyone could do to slow them down.  Even when Master of None named 8 of the 10 Kardashian reality series in the final round, JCIJB still had the upper hand and took home the grand prize.  But Master of None wasn't out of the woods yet.  They still had to face the Ancient Geezers in a tie breaker for 2nd place.  This is the third time, in recent memory, the Ancient Geezers have finished in a tie breaker.  Alas, the Geezers guessed too low on the New York  Thousand Island count and Master of None took the 2nd place prize.  But since Founders has the Coors Banquet back, the Ancient Geezers are the true winners tonight.  Thank you for another fun Tuesday, everyone!

When the Earth's A Quakin', Founders Ale House A... Populatin'?  You know, like a play on one of the team names tonight (see score board).  You get it? Like, people came into Founders the night after an earthquake, because... life is short and the "Big One" could happen at anytime so we have to drink as much beer as we can at all moments following a little taste of what will happen when the Earth's plates start dancing to the beat of Michael Jackson's "Don't Stop 'til You Get Enough" like a drunk uncle at your cousin's wedding.  Ya get it?  Am I right?

In other news, the Ancient Geezers must have lost some of their mojo in the earthquake since they didn't even finish in the top three.  It's either that or the three winners tonight gained super human brain power during the 'quake while working late in the lab that night (they all happened to be in the same Westwood, radioactive lab around 11pm when the walls started shaking and one of the experimental chemicals got knocked over and spilled all over our three winning teams).  It could have happened.  But probably not.  I keep trying to tell you about tonight's trivia but I keep getting sidetracked by the earthquake.  Did YOU feel it?

Congratulations to Interrobang Gang! (pictured first) who finished 17 points ahead of the second place team.  They really pulled it together after their successful double down in the 5th round.  The Hammer of Glory (pictured second) deserves some props for coming in second without doubling down the entire night.  Slow and steady, baby.  Lastly, I'd like to give a shout out to Master of None (pictured third) for making it into the winner's circle at Founders for the very first time.  Your patience has paid off.  Thanks for coming out, ya'll! And congrats on surviving the 'quake!
