About Hop Merchants Bottle Shop & Taproom

Hop Merchants Bottle Shop & Taproom is a craft beer bottle shop and tasting room. We offer 16 rotating taps of Los Angeles-area beer as well as a wide variety of bottles and cans from your favorite independent breweries, which you can purchase to go or to enjoy in-house (with $1.50 corkage).  We also have an open food policy, meaning outside food is welcome and delivery is even encouraged. It's all good!

Located in the NoHo Arts District of North Hollywood, California, our mission is to channel our passion for great beer, community, and create a fun, chill atmosphere for people to hang, drink, shop and debate the deeper mysteries of life...such as who would win in a fistfight between Batman and Captain America? What's the difference between partly cloudy and partly sunny?  If the Zombie Apocalypse started today, what would be your weapon of choice?  Why are there no such thing as B batteries?  If humans evolved from monkeys, why are there still monkeys?

Temperatures were low outside, but the excitement was high inside as We Have A Bad Feeling About This won by a one point lead over I, Poppy! who doubled in the final round sending them above The Keg.

It was neck and neck all night at Hop Merchants Bottle Shop & Taproom as Pirates of Dark Water and The Bad News Care Bears held tightly a tied first place for nearly six rounds. With an unexpected move, Butthole Surfers knew their cars and doubled, launching them to first place as we entered the final round. 

Once the dust settled, the final scores of the night saw Butthole Surfers hold onto the lead, followed by Pirates of Dark Water in second place.
