About Hop Merchants Bottle Shop & Taproom

Hop Merchants Bottle Shop & Taproom is a craft beer bottle shop and tasting room. We offer 16 rotating taps of Los Angeles-area beer as well as a wide variety of bottles and cans from your favorite independent breweries, which you can purchase to go or to enjoy in-house (with $1.50 corkage). We also have an open food policy, meaning outside food is welcome and delivery is even encouraged. It's all good!

Located in the NoHo Arts District of North Hollywood, California, our mission is to channel our passion for great beer, community, and create a fun, chill atmosphere for people to hang, drink, shop and debate the deeper mysteries of life...such as who would win in a fistfight between Batman and Captain America? What's the difference between partly cloudy and partly sunny? If the Zombie Apocalypse started today, what would be your weapon of choice? Why are there no such thing as B batteries? If humans evolved from monkeys, why are there still monkeys?

Despite the large number of Michigan transplants in attendance, our Detroit themed round challenged our crowd. Thankfully most were able to redeem themselves with our location question! Most answers were turned in after the first clue! As always, we had a blast playing trivia!

We had quite the turnout for this game! The evening started with three teams successfully doubling down in our general knowledge round, then seven teams for our picture round. By the time we got to the last round, it was cutthroat as we had six teams successfully double down in hopes of a first place win. Hop Merchants was a abuzz with new teams and the energy level was high. The Bee Sharps have been chasing first place over the last few weeks and tonight, they stung!
