About Hop Merchants Bottle Shop & Taproom

Hop Merchants Bottle Shop & Taproom is a craft beer bottle shop and tasting room. We offer 16 rotating taps of Los Angeles-area beer as well as a wide variety of bottles and cans from your favorite independent breweries, which you can purchase to go or to enjoy in-house (with $1.50 corkage).  We also have an open food policy, meaning outside food is welcome and delivery is even encouraged. It's all good!

Located in the NoHo Arts District of North Hollywood, California, our mission is to channel our passion for great beer, community, and create a fun, chill atmosphere for people to hang, drink, shop and debate the deeper mysteries of life...such as who would win in a fistfight between Batman and Captain America? What's the difference between partly cloudy and partly sunny?  If the Zombie Apocalypse started today, what would be your weapon of choice?  Why are there no such thing as B batteries?  If humans evolved from monkeys, why are there still monkeys?

What a lovely night at Hop Merchants! From the teams to the bartenders (shout out Lindsey and Logan!) we had a great night!

Hey Mommy! stayed in the lead almost the entirety of the night, officially claiming their 1st place title at the end of the night.

2nd place, The Keg (like the 2018 movie the meg) was crushin it tonight!!! The collaboration was next level. Look out other teams, they're comin' for ya!

3rd place (pictured above) We Have a Bad Feeling About This....well your feeling were so wrong! They finished strong with the bronze! 

Ryan & Aaron (pictured above) finished right in the middle but stayed positive throughout the game and knew a lot for just a couple of dudes drinking beers!

Absolutely fantastic night on Lanksershim at Hop Merchants!

Trivia returned to Hop Merchants Bottle Shop & Taproom with a quiet evening. Smaller teams of 2-3 players competed valiently. Highlights include all Quizmaster Yael's leniency, a round about Cheese, and the Multiple Scoregams Scoregasms. Continuing their winning streak was Hey Mommy! who placed first by one point, followed by Chaseador and new players Jo Mama.
