About Rescue Brewing Company

We chose this location in Historic Downtown Upland because it is the heart of Upland. Our goal is to create a space that is family oriented and a place the community can come together by having a relaxing time tasting our specialty craft beers as well as strolling the shops of our neighboring retails stores. Our mission is to give back to our community.by giving a portion of our proceeds from special events, merchandise and beer sales to our local heroes....Law Enforcement, Fire Department, Military, local Charities and Animal Rescues.

One of my favorite parts of trivia is seeing the comradery it brings...as well as the competitive spirit. This was more evident than ever last night as I watched a group of parents take on a group of their teenage children (spoiler....the parents walked away with more points), and the fun didn't stop there. There were a lot of cheers, a few groans, and some laughs along the way as everyone tried to climb to the top spot. My fun started a couplf of hours before trivia when I counted out 1,364 beans for our drinking round game.....which ended up being a hit as teams tried to figure out how many could possibly fit in such a relatively small jar. As always, it was another great trivia night at Rescue Brewing.

Ladies and gentlemen, it was a great night of trivia at Rescue. Unfortunately, not for your humble Quizmaster, who... just as he was finishing up a well-crafted recap, made a critical keystroke and lost it all. And it's late. And he's tired.

So here it is in a nutshell:

  • Twelve awesome teams.
  • Three teams successfully doubled in Round 1.
  • The Con-Quiz-tadors won the Drinking Round.
  • Pickles and Cats got some amazing brilliance in the final three rounds, but it wasn't enough to win.
  • There’s no crying in trivia DID win. Congrats!

We had ten teams joining us tonight... and with There’s no crying in trivia taking the early lead after Round One and keeping it round after round after round, it seemed no one would be able to catch them. However, a couple teams did manage to wrestle the top spot away from them, and the final team to land there was Bigfoot doesn't believe in you either, winning the top spot and the top prize of $1 pints courtest of Rescue Brewing!
