About Rescue Brewing Company

We chose this location in Historic Downtown Upland because it is the heart of Upland. Our goal is to create a space that is family oriented and a place the community can come together by having a relaxing time tasting our specialty craft beers as well as strolling the shops of our neighboring retails stores. Our mission is to give back to our community.by giving a portion of our proceeds from special events, merchandise and beer sales to our local heroes....Law Enforcement, Fire Department, Military, local Charities and Animal Rescues.

I'm tellin' ya.... King Trivia is so much fun, even the bar staff had to play a few rounds with us! But officially we had seven teams rolling through the rounds, and.... wow, it was TIGHT! After the first round, SIX of the seven teams had a perfect DOUBLED score... and as the rounds progressed (after a Drinking Round all about Black Friday and toy shopping), they were within 1-3 points of eachother!..  but by the final two rounds, there was further separation to have a clear winner... and Balutefisk took the win!

On this Thanksgiving Eve, I'm thankful we had fourteen teams (wow!) join us for a night of challenging questions, a drinking round, and the chance to win comedy tickets for the top team!

If I recall, After the first round, se had six teams with 12 points, but as usualy, the pack spread out and even teams that celebrated taking the top spot didn't celebrate for long.

In the end, The Ontologists took, and kept, the top spot... and won the checkered flag, and the comedy show seats on Nov 30 at Rescue Brewing! Congrats!

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! Have a great holiday, and we'll see you next week!

Eleven teams that not only were ready to play, but actually seemingly were in a playful mood. Well, I was about to crush their souls. More on that to come.

Teams traded rankings pretty often-- maybe more than usual. For me, that was fun to watch!

And then... ROUND FOUR! (Dum dum dummmmmm!!)Some teams that didn't listen to me give the rules of the round now hate John Stamos.

The Drinking Round was the Bubble Gum Challenge, and that was fun. British Invasion has a serious oral fixation!
