About Rescue Brewing Company

We chose this location in Historic Downtown Upland because it is the heart of Upland. Our goal is to create a space that is family oriented and a place the community can come together by having a relaxing time tasting our specialty craft beers as well as strolling the shops of our neighboring retails stores. Our mission is to give back to our community.by giving a portion of our proceeds from special events, merchandise and beer sales to our local heroes....Law Enforcement, Fire Department, Military, local Charities and Animal Rescues.

Do you remember....  the 20th night of December?

Well I certainly do, because it was tonight! Fourteen teams celebrated the season of giving (toasts), receiving (delicious food), and celebrating friends and family as we enjoyed trivia together. Personally I thought the questions were a lot of fun and a great variety of questions. Round Seven had a bit of a twist, though ... where Patty and Peppermint Patty were two different people in the Peanuts world (I subsequently looked it up and sure enough, this is correct. 

After a Drinking Round win by the B-Sharps (Don't forget to track Santa at NoradSanta.org), the game continued... and while the third place spot was shared by There's No Crying In Trivia and Bad Juju (Prizes for both teams), And In Third Place took the checkered flag and the win! Congrats!

We had THIRTEEN teams that were ready to take on questions! Ready to take on the challenge! Ready to take on pen and paper... and win this thing! But only one team can possibly win!

These were some challenging questions, but our teams did well... answering through the rounds...and after a Drinking Round of Hi/Lo, where a team of one (Dude Playing The Dude Disguised As The Other Dude) won, we got back to the game.

After Round 7, we had a tie for First Place between Don't Think, Just Do, and There's No Crying In Trivia... and after a quick battle over a skateboard, Don't Think, Just Do emerged victorious! Congrats to Don't Think, Just Do!!

Eleven teams all convened at Rescue Brewing... and I have to say, with each week, these teams get progressively more polite. Like.. there's actual clapping after each round for the top teams! My god people, you should have the taste for the jugular! Kill or be killed!

THIS IS SPARTAAAAA!!

...but nope. Golf claps all around. Must be something in the brew. 😛

We had about half the teams after Round One get perfect scores WITH successful Doubles, but the picture round was brutal, and the pack spread out fast after that.

After a Drinking Round (Congrats to Bradriana for taking THAT win), we returned to the game. Some shuffling went on... but after a time, There's No Crying In Trivia took the lead and never let it go... taking the top spot and the win. Congrats!

Thanks to all our teams (especially our new teams tonight), and looking forward to seeing you again next week!
