We chose this location in Historic Downtown Upland because it is the heart of Upland. Our goal is to create a space that is family oriented and a place the community can come together by having a relaxing time tasting our specialty craft beers as well as strolling the shops of our neighboring retails stores. Our mission is to give back to our community.by giving a portion of our proceeds from special events, merchandise and beer sales to our local heroes....Law Enforcement, Fire Department, Military, local Charities and Animal Rescues.

What do John Stamos and Wednesday night trivia at Rescue have in common?

Full house. There were a LOT of people hanging out on Wednesday night plying their skills at the sweet sweet trivia murmurs by yours truly.

One player was not present.

Steve.

Steve was "on vacation" and "let his team down". The one answer they were missing prevented a double down which would have led to the win. Moral of the story: Going on vacation lets down your "friends".

In other news, welcome to all the new teams that played last night. Hope to see you swing by again! I had a blast, and I learned more about the sun than I ever wanted to.

Pictured tonight are the champions, Bad Juju (B). Most impressive, their lack of punctuality actually didn't hinder them from taking the first prize home. That's right, they missed round 1, and still took home the gold. Quite an impressive feat.

Teams made a lot of "overconfident" decisions tonight. Missed double downs were a regular occurrence. But, from a statistical standpoint, I must say I'm proud of the teams learning to be more aggressive in situational double downs. That's how you win titles. None of that defense wins championships garbage.

I filled in for Nate at Rescue Brewing and boy those were some shoes to fill. They love Nate there. What a great crowd and turn out! It was a close game the whole way with lots of great teams. It came all the way down to the last round. Congrats to Couch Surfihg on their win! SNAFU played a great game too and came in 2nd. This was a great place to host. Great beer too. Hopefully I get the chance to host here again.
