Full House tonight!

The joint was a-rockin as people were standing room only for a great night of King Trivia! There were many, many double downs this evening, and most of them were right. You had to put many points on the board, and a tiebreaker was required to distinguish the runners-up from the second runners-up.

Most importantly, the Hatfields and McCoys had themselves a showdown tonight, and the Hatfields ended up winning the showdown. However, the McCoys won the drinking round, so I'll let you judge who is the real winner.

As always, apology notes for poor performances are appreciated, as are funny answers. Prestige Worldwide was good for both this evening.

If you ain't first, you're last. How false that is. While Ricky Bobby was good at racin', the philosophizing wasn't as spectacular. Here at Rescue, you can be first, second, or third, and still walk away with a prize for the evening. But more importantly, you can have a big ol pile of fun.

To be in the race for a top-3 place (#rhymes for days), you had to double down and get it right in round number 6 tonight. Those teams that made that move took home a sweet prize. The rest took home slightly obscured memories from the NEW BLENDS SECTION ON THE BEER MENU!

A brief diversion: this is the best thing to happen at Rescue Brewing since the Raspberry Wheat (RIP). The blended beers provide a new take on an old set of favorites. I can't get enough of the Hawaiian. It gives you the citrus and hibiscus, but you also get a great IPA flavor. It's like a sweeter version of the Grapefruit Sculpin from another brewer that shall not be named.

QUIZ RECAP

Wednesday night. Only one place to be: Hanging at Rescue Brewing. The beer was flowing, and so were the #knowledge bombs. One team stood above the rest. And I mean waaaaay above the rest. Kudos to our winners this evening: Between the Sheets. Although the margin of victory was only 11 points, they didn't double down 2 times when they could have because of their large lead.

Meanwhile, newcomers On Time won the drinking round by knowing the poundage of the world's largest pizza. Or at least getting a whole lot closer than anyone else ever has.

Fun fact: Finishing in the rear apparently has a double meaning. I was referring to the last place team, Steve. But I'm glad you got a good chuckle out of that.
