QUIZ RECAP

We had eight teams join us on this somewhat rainy night in Upland, but thankfully all was as it should be in Rescue Brewing-- food was delicious, and the brew.... well, that goes without saying! *chef's kiss*

KABAM5 and There's no crying in trivia started off solidly neck and neck at 12 points each after Round One (And I have to mention the Dune 2 Popcorn Bucket Enthusiasts team, because... well, I've seen the bucket. You bad boys, you! Tried and missed an attempt at the Double.).

After that The B Sharps decided to tangle with KABAM5 and ...after a successful Drinking Round win, took the fight all the way to the Tie-Breaker, where B Sharps emerged victorious, winning the question, and the top spot. Congrats!

QUIZ RECAP

Nine teams gathered this evening, including one new team, The Smarty Pints... eager to get their trivia on, and see how well they'd do. I love when new teams come out because ... no matter now well they perform, I want them to have a great time. I know the food and drink at Rescue Brewing will always be on point, and... well, we KNOW your faithful Quizmaster can do no wrong. But how well a team does on the questions nobody knows.

Lately I've seen some teams that traditionally do very well having a harder time with the questions, and conversely, teams that rank lower in the game are now ending up higher. I'm not naming name but I'm pretty sure it's aliens.

But... back to the game.

The B Sharps knew their Sports Arenas well enough and won the drinking rounds, and by the end of the night Irish I Were Drunk took the top spot and the $1 pints courtesy of Rescue Brewing! And The Smarty Pints, our new team? Second Place, and that's so awesome! $5 pints for them! Hope we see them back!
