About Rescue Brewing Company

We chose this location in Historic Downtown Upland because it is the heart of Upland. Our goal is to create a space that is family oriented and a place the community can come together by having a relaxing time tasting our specialty craft beers as well as strolling the shops of our neighboring retails stores. Our mission is to give back to our community.by giving a portion of our proceeds from special events, merchandise and beer sales to our local heroes....Law Enforcement, Fire Department, Military, local Charities and Animal Rescues.

Seven rounds of questions-- questions that seemed to be challenging in different ways. Is it Ice-T or Iced Tea? Was it the commercial IN Toy Story, or a just a character that appeared in the movie? Why does Texas have so many flippin' counties? Teams battled through these challenges, while also celebrating Alex' near 2500 days working at Rescue!

Congrats to The Con-Quiz-tadors who finally stole the lead back from The B Sharps to take the win (At least The B Sharps took the Drinking Round, so there's that...)

Another fun night at Rescue Brewing... where a small controversy broke out. Stay tuned for that.

Round One had four teams tied at 12 points each. However, in short order, the pack broke up, and we had There's no crying in trivia, KABAM5, and The Con-Quiz-tadors trading off for the top spot...until The Con-Quiz-tadors grabbed it and wouldn't let go, untimately taking the win! Congrats to them!

Now, the controversy: Are boneless wings ACTUALLY wings? Or are they just chicken nuggets with a different name?

Are they tasty? Sure. Are they easier to eat? Yup. But.... boness wings? Your faithful Quizmaster humbly submits to you that they are NOT. The only specimen that can reasonably be called a boness wing is a traditional wing that has has the wing twisted and slid out, leaving the skin and meat behind. A boneless wing is not that.

*gets off his soapbox*

Eleven teams in a fun trivia mood... ready to play..and play they did!

We had some fun questions tonight and Round One was off to a fast start with five teams scoring 12 points each! Of course, as the game went on, the teams spread out in the standings, and The Guess Who round proved to be challenging for some, easier for others... but everyone had fun during the Drinking Round and the Fruit By The Foot Challenge! Congrats to Boo-urns for taking that one!

In the end, There's No Crying In Trivia took the lead and the game. Congrats to them!
