Gung hei faat Choi! King Trivia was celebrating Lunar New Year at Shadow Grove tonight. 5 teams came to play and drink. And DRINK they did! Chen Yun2.0 had a very successful DON in Rnd 5 and had a commanding lead going into Rnd7.

In the end our final winners were ChenYun2.0 in first, Ludicris Display 2nd, and Select Start rounding out top three. Thanks to all who came out to play, and to our barkeeps, Michael and Manny, for their hard work keeping glasses full. Cheers! CC

QUIZ RECAP

Thanks to all who came out to Shadow Grove tonight! It was a tightly contested game, with multiple changes in the leader board throughout the night. Ladies4China was the only one to come out of the Round 1 gate with a successful DON, but other teams were quickly realizing there was stiff competition. Manny and Michael kept the brews flowing behind the bar while a lot of smack talk was getting exchanged. Round 7 concluded with a THREE WAY, 51 points, tie for first place. The tie breaker gauntlet was thrown down and team Quizzlers reigned supreme! Congratulations to team Oskirk for nabbing 2nd and Ladies4China coming in 3rd. Cheers! -CC

Awesome night here at Shadow Grove. 12 teams came out to drink, play trivia, drink and drink - what Dry January, where??? Not here!

Isotopes threw down the gauntlet in Rnd1 w/a successful DON to get the action going. Strong performances from Scott’s Tots, Select Start and Single Hoes kept the battle epic throughout the evening. That’s a Pretty Nice Calzone You’ve Got There kept on the heels of the leaders going into Round 7, but Select Start emerged triumphant with Isotopes awarded 2nd place and Single Hoes Coming in 3rd! Thanks to Michael, Manny, Ron & Tom for welcoming me to Shadow Grove. Y’all are awesome hosts with an A-MAH-ZING brew house! I look forward to seeing you each Thursday night at 7:30. Cheers! CC
