Lots of new faces on this beautiful Fall night of trivia at Shadow Grove Brewing!
R1 started off strong for 2 teams getting successful Doubles or Nothing. R2 proved challenging to many not familiar with famous Kiwis, BUT all teams knew the Lourde, so praise that!
R3 had some teams confusing continents for countries(ahem), and R4 had almost everyone stumped until the 2nd to final clue - ouch! Despite the midterms being the main news story this week, most teams missed the connection in R5. R6 showed us some fire was still left in the game with a successful DON turned in by BOTH leading teams, Hot Diggity Dog and Burger of the Day.
Some teams groaned, whilst others gleefully cackled, upon hearing the final round would involve geography. Take it in the Beer did exceptionally well in this round, but after the dust settled, Step Down Pelosi claimed 3rd place, Hot Diggity Dogs snagged 2nd and Burger of the Day claimed top honors. We had a competitive night at Shadow Grove. and it was a close game! Dark Side of the Moon was strong all night long, in the lead with many successful double or nothings, but Hot Diggity Dogs took the glory! Mecha BBQ and Dom's Cakes were serving AMAZING food as the resident Thursday night food vendor at Shadow Grove. Join us next Thursday for more friendly, stiff competition!

What a great night to sub in as host at Shadow Grove Brewing! Although it was a little chilly, we crowded inside for a close game throughout the night. Shiver came out in the beginning and held the lead, even though some teams tried coming after with doubling rounds! Happy Hour Heux had some backup this week and ended up in third. No teams were successful in taking over Shiver so they took home the top prize!
