What a beautiful night in San Fernando, C-A to play trivia and drink excellent brews!!! Very nice to see teams new to Shadow Grove Brewing, but old friends of King Trivia came out to join us where ALL are welcome!
Round 1 launched fierce competition from Pineapple Doesn’t Belong on Pizza and Beers for Queers, both of whom successfully doubled and lead into Round 2. Speaking of which, those famous Latinos featured in R2 did not phase these teams, although the spelling of their names may have(but we don’t mind that at all).
H&Ms displayed their aMAHzing knowledge of Bills and Teds by stunning the crowd with a successful DON in R3. Most teams figured out the Guess Who? in R4 was 1 of 2 popular comediennes, but only Beers for Queers snagged 8 points, whilst others settled on 6. Once the teams figured out the connection in R5, alllll kinda of “spicy” answers were being submitted. Anyone hear of a rapper named Pap-Rika?! I certainly have not. Distasteful guesses aside, H&Ms boldly showed off their knowledge of the YouTube world with a SECOND successful DON in R6.
When it all came down to European geographical knowledge of the Danube, the wheels fell off, but H&Ms hung in for a 1st Place finish! Beers for Queers claimed 2nd after winning a tie breaking question and Pay Her Dues finished 3rd. A HUUUGE thank you to Shadow Grove Brewing for hosting KT each week and for supplying patrons and players with delicious craft beers! Cheers to beers! CC
