One of the LOWEST scoring games in the history of Tuesday trivia here at Barney's! But the camaraderie between the teams as they rallied to answer a decidedly tough (but fun!) game of trivia tonight was truly something. We were all in that sinking boat together - and much like the orchestra on the deck of the Titanic, we kept playing those measly instruments for as long as we could until eventually only three teams were saved from the shame - well, that and an icy death, if we're keeping with the analogy here.

The man pictured above (with beard) is affectionately known as the Captain. Honestly, if anyone knows his real name I'd be shocked. He's been coming to the bar for years now. He never plays trivia, chooses to drink and socialize in the corner but always stops up to say hello and exchange a piece of his own trivia. Tonight, he decided to play trivia for the first time. Well, he didn't win. He didn't place. He didn't even finish past round 3 because the questions got a little tough and the drinks were poured a little heavier and he went to sleep on the bar. But hey, here's to the Captain and trying new things!
