A lively night with many unsuspecting diners joining in on the frivolity!

The first round was all over the place with scores from 1-5, the second round saw a bit more confidence, with a whopping 9 Teams landing double-downs, and quite a few more with 8 and 7 point scores.

Round 3 brought things back to reality, as most teams reached cruising altitude at 4 points. Round 4 had most teams either score 10 - 8 points, or the dreaded -1...

Things really started to heat up, as the teams read the writing on the wall and threw themselves into double-downs with reckless abandon! Ten successful doubles in Round 5, Seven in Round 6, zeroes flying everywhere, teams giving up in the face of clear destiny!

After a rather impressive display of geopolitical knowledge, and skyrocketing scores, "We did it, Reddit" came in Third, "Hargrave" in Second, and "Quizlamic State" in First.

A balmy night for a WeHo Brew, an appetizer, maybe some desert, and of course, TRIVIA!

The teams tonight were ready and hungry for some hot triviaction, and they got it. In round 1, teams all scored above 3 points with Quizlamic State and Bastards be Bastards Doulbing-Down, but no one wanted to be left in the dust in Round 2 and brought the heat with 9 successful double-downs - Man these teams know their cookies! What about Double Downs the next round, you say? Teams had to devise answers that were also Roman Numerals and were able to score bit with another IX Doubles in round III - Who said American Public Schools weren't all that?

The teams certain could smell what was cookin' in round 4, and no one waited long to throw down their correct answers. Round 5 brought some flagging points, as leaders began to solidify clear through the end, widening the gap until after a thrilling and hilarious tie-breaker between Double-Downton Abbey and Carol Channing Tatum left Carol Channing Tatum in Third, I Blame Obama in Second, and Quizlamic State (after 5 Double-Downs) in First Place.

As the nights give us some reprieve from sweltering days, the Trivia remains hot and fresh at Barney's.

Over $100 in prizes, and trivia's not the only way to win! This venue has spectacular raffles on the even rounds where even the trailing teams have a chance to win a pitcher of beer, a dessert, or maybe a delicious Barney's Appetizer!

22 Teams competed in a raucous blaze of questions about big cats at even bats! Well, batmen. Well, Batman. Okay, *technically* Bruce Wayne, but that's beside the point. The beer flowed almost as quickly as the answers, but in the end, only three would reign triumphant and take home - or, probably immediately spend - the Barney's Giftcards this evening. Quizlamic State, Definitely Cheating, and the Analinguists built up the points it took to leave the rest waiting another week.
