First rule of Trivia Club: You DO talk about Trivia Club! Last night, the brain fight at the Ol' Tam O' Shanter was electric!
A drinking round called "What The Hell Happned To Mike?" (regular host) was met with many engaging theories, all of them involving local travel, world travel, and time travel! The Evil Shetland Ponies won that round by throwing in how Mike's gambling problem specifically involved making bad bets on little league teams. Hey, we all have our vices.
Speaking of vices, how about an addiction to trivia contests in Scottish restaurants? In third place was Steve Sleeve with 64 points! And, for a personal first in a long time...there was a TIE! 69 points for Queens Of Kingswell, and the same for Boogaloo's Revenge! A tie-breaking question about some famous soccer players salary and endorsements separated the first from the second. Boogaloo's Revenge edged out Queens Of Kingswell by about a hundred and twenty million dollars. All is fair in love and brain fights.

Tons of great times at the Tam O'Shanter tonight. These teams were either competing for knowledge of towers or who could best use the term "skin suit." Didn't matter! All four teams wanted to win and, sorry, I could only give prizes to three quarters of them.
NoHo Farts District (which I didn't know was a joke name; I thought that's what that area was officially called) achieved the position of third with a score of 47. In second place was Teegeeack Fridays with a daunting score of 56 points. But just edging out those stalwarts was LADIES!! with 57 points. I prayed for a tie-breaker and was once again denied. One day!
Not even the death of Vin Scully could dampen this night's festivities. (True or False: Vin Scully was once married to Joan Crawford. Answer: True. But that's not what's important. What's important is that he divorced her.)
