QUIZ RECAP

There was plenty of excitement to be had at the Tam for this night of trivia! A tie - and subsequent tense tie-breaker - for third place! A Find the Connection Round that required much thought before action (fitting, for Shakespeare's "Hamlet" was the connection). And Trashley Wards returned, the stars aligning to give them all a free Tuesday night and their brains aligning to give them the win.

But the important knowledge that we all gained is something that we can take home and enjoy. Newcomers Jason S'morehees shared their very particular ingredients list to a commonly used recipe with your humble Quizmaster, who subsequently shared with the room at large. It is for a delightful fireside treat, and is simply as follows:

• Graham cracker
• Marshmallow
• Hershey's chocolate bar
• MURDER

Hearing the crowd's warm response to this Most Dangerous Treat, a solitary tear fell from Jason's bone white mask, and he invited everyone to a really neat sounding summer camp at which he promised to make dessert for everybody! Or did he say that he'd give everyone their just desserts? I'm sure it's not important...

On a night with both the General Washingtons and a team called General Washing taking the field, it seemed that their struggle (and the Quizmaster's confusion) would be the story of the night. However, telegraphed as always by their reliably accurate team name, Clean Up at the Tam started strong and finished with a comfortable lead -- zero knowledge of coffee countries required!
