About Strand Brewing Co

Founded with the support and love from friends and family in 2009, Strand was one of the first craft breweries in Los Angeles County.

Strand is not only proud to represent the beginning of the craft beer movement in LA, but the future of it as well. The brewery is located on the southern coast of Los Angeles County, nestled amongst the sleepy beach communities collectively known as The South Bay.

Strand Brewing Company is owned and operated by lifelong friends Rich Marcello and Joel Elliott.

A great evening of trivia alongside the Dodgers! While they didn't end up winning OR get into the World Series this year, at least our teams had winners, right? (groan)

As for trivia, regulars Mr. Poopybutthole did not come to play this week, they came to win! But Gently and Stranded put forth a great fight and didn't give up first place easily. Stranded, who have had a ROUGH couple of weeks, deserve extra cred since they placed 3rd with 69 points! NICE!

Looking forward to hogging the stage this next Wednesday without baseball! Well, except for the World Series. But without the Dodgers, who cares??

We had a wonderful group of regulars in the house for Wendesday trivia despite the chill in the air! It sure is October now, and people are bringing blankets and sweaters in order to keep competing!

Tipsy McStaggers brought their A-GAME and slayed with an 8-point lead over 2nd. Foursum, a group with a very deceiving name since they are more than four in number, took second. Poopy came in third!

Bonus invisible points to Stranded, who sure had a struggle in the first rounds but managed to get on the board and end in the middle of the pack by the final round!

A great night of competition for our trivia nerds at Strand Brewing!

Mr. Poopybutthole had its full gamut of smarty-pants team members, so it was no surprise these folks led the pack with an 82-point finish! Stranded came in close 2nd with 78, and TheOtherBarWasFull rounded out our top three with a commendable 72 points. 

It felt like everyone had a full suite of team members tonight, so keep 'em up! The more heads at your table, the more brains! Or so I assume...
