Well we had 7 new teams last night and 2 of our registered regulars on hand for King Trivia. Once again Felice Catering was in the house dishing out their delicious wood fired pizza.
Tropical Heat applied the heat right off the bat and doubled correctly in Round 1. They played solid throughout and wound up getting their picture with IronMan for 1st place.
One of my regulars and favorite teams, Sams Family, had a great night and so happy they came in 2nd. They doubled correctly in Round 6 and that 20 points vaulted them into 2nd, so cool!
Great Minds Drink Alike played with only 3 but had a strong game and took 3rd. I always expect them to be in the top 3 especially when they are in full force.
All in all it was a great night of King Trivia and the teams had a lot of fun energy.

Another fantastic night of KingTrivia at Strand Brewing Co. Also had Market Burgers in the house serving up a delicious variety of burgers. I had the Turkey burger and it was delicious!
So much fun to have a mixture of new teams and our favorite regulars competing. And right off the bat, 2 of our regulars, Great Minds Drink Alike and Gattaca successfully doubled and the battle was on. They are both so good and so competitive, it was only a matter of which one would come in first!
Played a round of Survey Slam for the beer round and I think the folks enjoyed it. Gattaca came out on top in that one and got some delicious Strand brew on the house.
The top 3 stayed tough all the way through and especially in 5, 6 and 7. The move that pushed Gattaca into 2nd was they submitted on the 10 point clue in Guess Who and got it wrong. Tough to overcome that in the late rounds.
Had a returning team called Pussy Posse return to play and they are a very fun group of young ladies. They were lagging at the beginning but came on strong and took 3rd. Gattaca 2nd and Great Minds Drink Alike got their 1st place picture with IronMan. DaNile had an off game but you can never count them out they are a great team.

Another fun night of KingTrivia at Strand Brewing Co,. As usual Felice Catering was there, serving up their delicious wood fired neapolitan pizza.
Well right off the battaca, Gattaca was on the attackaca and doubled successfully, got the 2 points for being registered and scored 14 points in round 1. From then on it was a up to the rest of the pack to stay with them.
Had a new team called Brewnetters and though they stumbled a bit out of the gate they finished strong and had a respectable 32 points.
For the beer round we played "Fruit by the Foot in Mouth" and man some of these folks can really gobble up those treats. DaNile was the fastest however and got some fresh Strand brew to take home. Whenever I play this one, it makes me laugh how many people ask if the can have a Fruit By The Foot to eat, must remind them of being a kid
Gattaca stayed steady and strong but the rest of the pack was nipping at their heels throughout for sure. In the end they were tough to overcome and took home the 1st place gift certificate for the 2nd week in a row, nicely done! 2 of our other regulars were right behind with TriviaAmigos taking 2nd and Great Minds Drink alike 3rd.
