See how your team ranks in the Woodstock's Trivia League
We had 29 teams with 114 players plus a couple of cutie-pie kids join us for an awesome night of trivia! We had two rounds of The Office themed trivia, and at the end of those rounds, Molly Can’t Buy a Beer won the official Woodstocks “The Office” Trivia Winner prize: a stapler in jello, made with resin! Jim would be so proud! We also got down with Drake and our Wakandan Queen, planned out a shopping trip, and M&N’ed our way through Geography. We helped our friends on team Happy Birthday Juan celebrate Juan the best way possible: a room full of drunken strangers, singing some version of Happy Birthday almost all together. If you want to celebrate (/embarrass) *your* loved ones, bring them down for their special day and let your host know, and we’ll do the rest. 😉 Our scoreboard shifted around a lot tonight, with lots of teams holding the spotlight for a round or two, including 3 teams that figured out the Mystery Person at the 10 point level and 8 teams that found the connection - well done! At the end of the night, there were some excellent prizes waiting for our top teams: pint glasses, gift certificates, The Office Pop! Figures, plus stickers, surf wax, and koozies from Alvarado Street Brewery! 1st place went to Bears, Beats, Battlestar Galactica; 2nd place went to Scotts Tots, and after a tiebreaker, 3rd place went to Super Weenie Hut Jr, barely beating out Molly Can’t Buy a Beer. We had some fantastic Office-themed team names, and the Best Team Name prize went to Identify Theft is Not a Joke, Jim! It was so much fun, and looking forward to seeing you all next week for the Pokemon theme! Rumor has it there may even be a prize available for dressing up…..

Happy May the Fourth Be With You Thursday! We had 29 teams, 106 players, and 2 handsome doggos join us for some Harry Potter trivia! After cheering our local Warriors to a big win in the playoffs, we hopped on our broomsticks and headed to Hogwarts for not one but TWO theme rounds! Shout out to SAS for figuring out the Mystery Person at the 10 point level, then to the 8 teams that found the connection - well done! We sang Happy Birthday to Eli from the Modelitos, and would like to invite all our trivia friends to bring your friends and family to celebrate their special day with us, as we are always delighted (gleeful even!) to help you embarrass your loved ones with a roomful of drunken strangers singing to them! 😉🍻 They also get a free Cinnabread! After a Billboard Top Music Countdown, it was time for the final scores and some truly spellbinding THEMED prizes along with gift certificates and pint glasses! 3rd place went to Two Girls One Goblet of Fire, 2nd place went to our leaders for most of the night: Nimbus 69,000. And our 1st place team, thanks to 2 successful Double-or-Nothings in a row propelling them to the top, was Sexy Slytherin! Our Best Team Name went to It's TriviOsah Not TriviosAH. Tonight was another wonderful night of trivia at Woodstocks Santa Cruz. Thank you. Everybody who showed up and played with us. We had 26 fierce teams, duel it out for some amazing Woodstocks prices. Up until around six we have a doctor was in first place, however, sexy slugs, persevered through in third place sausage Gobblers. Tonight's best team name went to Pippin dots.
