We had 24 teams and 128 players plus a couple of very cute pups join us for a hoppin’ night of trivia! After Round 1, four teams were tied in 1st place: The Back Entrance, Super Weenie Hut Jr, Fart Smellas & Smart Fellas, and Dexter’s Dolls. Round 2 went right through us, and Hufflepuff Puff Pass floated to 1st, with Fart Smellas & Smart Fellas in 2nd and The Back Entrance in 3rd. Round 3 gave us Davey Crockett and Michael Jordan, and Fart Smellas & Smart Fellas battled their way back to 1st place, with Dexter’s Dolls in 2nd and Hufflepuff Puff Pass in 3rd. In Round 4, no teams got the name right at the 10 point level, but shout out to the one team that figured it out at the 8 point level: Banana Sluts. Fart Smellas & Smart Fellas held 1st, Dexter’s Dolls kept 2nd, and The Back Entrance tied Hufflepuff Puff Pass in 3rd. In Round 5, nine teams found the connection, so shout out to: The Goonies, Cuckchow, The Stool Samples, Joe’s Bros, Hufflepuff Puff Pass, Felton Five, Fart Smellas & Smart Fellas, Dexter’s Dolls, and Banana Sluts! Dexter’s Dolls took over 1st place, Fart Smellas & Smart Fellas dropped to 2nd, and Joe’s Bro’s snagged 3rd with a Double-or-Nothing. Round 6 was all about animal songs, and Dexter’s Dolls had an obvious advantage - Dexter the super cute pup! They held onto 1st, with Joe’s Bro’s climbing to 2nd and Hufflepuff Puff Pass rejoining the podium in 3rd. And then in Round 7, it all came down to music and science. Every single team knew TSwift, most thought of Harry Styles, and no one - not one team! - said Adele. Quite a few teams went Double-or-Nothing to try and take the throne, and Adele swept it away from every single one. Brutal! Dexter’s Dolls held onto 1st, Joe’s Bros stole 2nd, and Felton Five slid into 3rd. Hufflepuff Puff Pass won the vote for Best Team Name and got the pint glass & gift certificates, but the runner up team Fart Smellas & Smart Fellas won a consolation prize of a Laffy Taffy & a Snickers for making us all snicker and laugh. It was a fabulous night, and we’ll see you all next week!

We had 15 teams and 59 players + Rocky the dog come out after the storm to join us for the first night of trivia in the new year! After Round 1, KAN and Kevin McCarthy Pity Party were tied in 1st, while Rad Box Winners and It’s Fine We’re Fine tied in 3rd. Round 2 was all about making headlines, and put Kevin McCarthy Pity Party in 1st (an irony we enjoyed), KAN in 2nd, and Rad Box Winners and It’s Fine We’re Fine still tied in 3rd. Round 3 was about E.T. and the QB, and KAN took control of the podium, with Kevin McCarthy Pity Party in 2nd and Team Redundancy Team climbing up to 3rd. In Round 4, one team got the name correct at the 10 point level: Stu-Lina! Congrats to them, and a HUGE congratulations to Stu and Kalina on their upcoming wedding this Saturday!!  May it be a beautiful day, and thanks for bringing your bridal party to join us for trivia! KAN and Kevin McCarthy Pity Party held 1st & 2nd respectively, and the 10-pointer was enough to bring Stu-Lina up to tie Team Redundancy Team in 3rd. In Round 5, five teams found the connection, so shout out to Bricked up on a Thursday, Team Redundancy Team, R.I.P. Seacliff Wharf, Kevin McCarthy Pity Party, and Dig It. KAN kept 1st, Team Redundancy Team moved to 2nd, and Stu-Lina held 3rd. In Round 6, we got some tunes stuck in our head, and KAN used a Double-or-Nothing that left them untouchable going into the final round, with Team Redundancy Team and Stu-Lina ready to defend their positions in 2nd & 3rd. And then in Round 7, it all came down to a night out at the movies. KAN of course took home the top prize, with Team Redundancy Team in 2nd and Stu-Lina in 3rd. Kevin McCarthy Pity Party edged out R.I.P Seacliff Wharf for Best Team Name, which they pointed out meant Kevin McCarthy at least won something that day.
