QUIZ RECAP

It was my first night as a quizmaster, so I was a bit nervous. The staff there were great! They helped me out to get started. The players were awesome, and were patient with me as I was learning the routine. We had a great game.

The scores were all over the place, except for two teams;

"He who shall not be named"

and "Blue barracudas" . Their scores were close through out the game. Blue Barracudas pulled out the win by getting the tiebreaker question.

For the free round; I had them make paper airplanes and then they all tossed them. The plane that flew the furthest would win. The "Dick Pick Virgins" won a flight of beer.

It was good. I look forward to next Tuesday, and another game of King Trivia!

QUIZ RECAP

It was a great night of trivia at Longship Brewery the night before the big holiday. We had a record number of teams at least when I have been the quizmaster there. We had thirteen teams in total, but a few did leave after the fifth round, saying they had fun and would return for more trivia at a later time.

For the free drink round I had the teams create their own team flag in honor of the holiday. Team 3 men and a lady won the prize with their flag drawing of what their team would look like, the best drawing(flag) shown above.

The score was tight going into the final rounds of play, most teams just going double or nothing in the 5th round, but it was the Indifferent Penguins who scored 7 in the final round to take the first place prize again scoring a total of 57 points. The Blue Barracudas came in second with 51 points.

We had to go to a tie breaker question for third place, with the team Putin Rigged the World Cup guessing the closest number for the tie breaking question, beating out the Champs. Giving team Putin Rigged the World Cup the third place prize.

QUIZ RECAP

It was a wild night of trivia at Longship Brewery this last Tuesday. We had ten teams compete with eight of them being newly formed teams.

It was a close game going into the sixth round of play where seven teams felt really confident with their Latin Linguistics match up and gambled double or nothing and got nothing. With the other teams scoring 9, 9, and 10 in the round and not taking the gamble.

Going into the final round, team Indifferent Penguins, who had won the previous two weeks were in the lead, but not by much, team Know Know Trivia, a new team wasn't far behind, being the only team to get all ten questions correct in the previous round.

Team's Reeeeal Losers and The Green Machine gambled double or nothing in the final round and didn't hit it. Team Know Know Trivia however did hit the double or nothing in the final round to take the win from team Indifferent Penguins, who didn't gamble and scored eight on the round and an overall second place.

Team Anti Diet Diet Club were consistent all game, hitting one double or nothing round, knowing their cartoon villains, and finished third overall.
