QUIZ RECAP

The Hallowinners (the seasonal alter ego of Meeseeks and Destroy) were worthy of their namesake tonight!

Each team player had to draw the best Mr. Meeseeks they could, and the best drawer would receive a free appetizer/dessert coupon without being guilted into sharing! The prize went to Celine who drew an exact perfect likeness of Mr. Meeseeks himself... you just couldn't tell because she drew him wearing a Halloween costume!

Another fun Thursday at Friday's in the books for Quizmaster Charlotte Knight (get it? GET IT????)!

There was quite a turnout at TGI Fridays, and it wasn't for the Warriors!

Master Debators, Brochachos and Chas, and Astros Should Fire Their Pitcher held a strong lead throughout the game, doubling down at least once to ensure they were able to place. Master Debators also won a free appetizer/dessert coupon for having the closest guess to the secret number your Quizmaster had scribbled down (the number of days left before she leaves for Italy!).

Shade University came close, but struggled with our "River Phoenix" theme. Meeseeks and Destroy wasn't too far behind, with presidential affairs being their toughest challenge, though "Irish" they did better! Let The Wookie Win guessed the "other James Franco" in Round 4. Second-time players Menace to Sobriety didn't do bad, all things considering, but next week they gotta bring reinforcements to take down the other King Trivia veterans.

Meeseeks and Destroy returned to TGI Fridays to face off against new competition Eggheads and Menace to Sobriety! And they did incredibly well, taking home first place AND a free appetizer/dessert coupon for writing down the most countries without an "A" in their name.

Menace to Sobriety was duped by Versailles one too many times tonight. They thought the Treat of Versailles had ended the American Revolution in Round 1, and they had the right name for the wrong castle in Round 2. Damn those Frenchies! But Menace to Sobriety did really well on their recent MLB World Series champions and was the first team to figure out Mount Vesuvius was our Guess Where? of the week.

Eggheads joined us halfway through the game, and had a blast, so to speak. (They jumped the gun and guessed "Pompeii" on Round 4; whoops!) Eggheads also did well on their MLB teams, but it wasn't enough to touch Meeseeks and Destroy or Menace to Sobriety, but they still got to go home with third place winnings anyway.
