Tonight, the key to winning was seeing things through to the end!
Bling Girls scored low points-wise, but they excelled at a free appetizer game of High/Low! Hope you guys come back next week!
Miggies and Mom & Dad (not mine, but would be cool if they were!) had to duke it out for the third place prize, with Miggies guessing 12 total books in the Book of Mormon, while Mom & Dad guessed 13. Not a bad date night, eh?
Happy Hour Heroes doubled down on their Leo films, which helped her take home the silver, but Eat Me, I'm a Danish knew his flags and accomplishment "firsts" all too well -- those double-downs sent him home with the gold and the glory!

Whether there's no games, just one big game, or a thousand games playd on a thousand TVs, the show will still go on! And tonight that meant three rounds of "silent trivia" for all our dedicated teams that came out to play AND watch the game. Made things go by fast until the crowds dispersed and I could get on my mic again.
Eat Me I'm A Danish doubled down correctly on the first two rounds, allowing them to hold their lead throughout the entire game -- a major comeback from last week! Where's the Whiskey? wasn't too far behind, holding an impressive average of eight points per round. DJ Baby Bok Choy came as a surprise with a nickname double-down, and ended up taking third place, along with a free appetizer for being the closest team to guess how many King Trivia booklets I had in my bag.
Special shout outs to 1) Happy Hour Heroes for averaging six points per round all by herself -- not an easy feat, let me tell ya; 2) and the 401K's for also doing exceptionally well, and barely losing their hold on the third place title at the last minute; and 3) Tequila Mockingbird who, despite coming in dead last, still had a lot of fun they were not expecting to have when they stepped foot into TGI Fridays tonight.
We also said goodbye to sever Donnie today! He'll still be around for a few more days, but tonight is the last night our King Trivia players will see him before he's off traveling the world, kicking ass, and taking names. You'll be missed, my dude! Go Vikings!

It was a delight having you all join me for King Trivia tonight -- it was quite the decent turnout!
Most everyone knew their general knowledge, and nearly everyone doubled down correctly or got no less than 9 points on their fictional alcoholic drinks. But ultimately it was newbies SRB who took home the first place prize for knowing their James McAvoy and broken connections.
Koman & Jam, the only team brave enough to double down on their general knowledge, was only three points behind, and they got to take home the second place prize. Where's the Whiskey? was only one measly point behind them, but third place is better than not taking home anything at all!
Special shout out to Beer Me, who gave trivia a try for the first time, and in spite of the restaurant volume clashing with my sound equipment, they had a blast. And super special shout out to Eat Me, I'm a Danish for getting tired of winning all the time, and deliberately choosing to just collect their free appetizer winnings for guessing the EXACT number of pens in my bag (62!). You were too kind tonight!
