Two veteran King Trivia teams and two novice teams kicked their almost-weekend off right at TGI Friday's!

The game's early beginnings kept everyone on their toes, as all teams appeared to be evenly matched. The Baddest had to duck out early, but kudos to them for knowing their footwear brands!

It became a battle of the former coworkers between Framy and Trex & Doggy, with Trex & Doggy securing their second place win by one measly point! But Framy also earned a free appetizer during a game of High/Low as well as the third place win, so while Trex & Doggy got the brains, Framy got the goods.

Where's the Whiskey? has to figure out how to split their first place goods between six people -- they left everyone in the dust by doubling down by trusting their gut on their video game character weapons. Glory to you fine folks!

It was great to see so many people have a bunch of fun they weren't expecting to have, and for a couple of them to go home with wicked sweet prizes!

It Takes 2 and Fuzzy were neck-in-neck for the lead tonight, but Fuzzy and their mortal enemy Chipions had to duck out early. (Happy birthday, Chipions!) CHC ended up taking second place -- not bad for joining in a round late! And Chicago got a small consolation prize of $10 for knowing all his NFL quarterbacks.

And sweet farewells to half of It Takes 2 as she moves across the country for work -- hopefully the other half will come back and continue to kick ass as It Takes 1! (Though that is a little sad to picture, now that I think about it.) You guys will be missed!

Saw some familiar faces, but was especially excited to have a bunch of unfamiliar faces put their smarty pants on one leg at a time tonight.

Power Rangers, AK46, West Coast Hustlers, and Just Here for a Draft were all new kids on the block -- and two of these kids got to go home with dinero! West Coast Hustlers doubled down correctly on their colorful songs, pushing them into third place and $10 richer. Just Here for a Draft, despite being half distracted with fantasy football stats, doubled down on their sports equipment and colorful song knowledge, bringing them into first place and $30 richer.

Jeff Team are King Trivia experts already, but although they had to settle for a $20 second place prize, they still had the crazy mad skills to take home a free TGI Fridays appetizer during a riveting game of High/Low. And to think, they were planning on ducking out early tonight! HAH! Leave it to Quizmaster Charlotte to be your favorite enabler!
