I hope everyone who walked away with gift cards and appetizers tonight was rooting for the Cavaliers, lest insult be added to injury! After a close, intense game, you all deserved them.
We had a birthday group in the house, and everyone celebrated with style! Sub-team Martini "Itches" (sorry, it's not my fault, there were kids around!) destroyed their fellow party attendees points-wise and took home a $10 TGI Fridays gift card. But sub-team Jeff Team beat out seven other players for a free appetizer -- it was a feat not any less impressive.
Komon & Jam had to work for their second place spot, but kept their cool and took $20 in TGI Fridays gift cards home tonight. Glory to you guys!
But ultimately, it was the mad booksmarts of It Takes 2 to double down correctly in Round 1, and keep a strong lead all the way through to the end of the game. The rest of us are not worthy!

Questions were tricky tonight, but everyone did amazing nonetheless! And I hope all the fun they had made up for that disappointing Golden State Warrior loss.
The Redd Knights took home $30 in TGI Fridays gift cards for getting more than half the points in all rounds except for Round 3. Not too shabby for a couple of "geezers"!
Dodger Fanz weren't expecting to play tonight, but they were on FIRE from start to finish! They took home $20 in TGI Fridays gift cards and a free appetizer for being able to come up with the most single-word band names. Not too shabby for a couple of, well, ya know, Dodger fans. Hah!
Sooner's took third place and got a $10 TGI Friday's gift card -- certainly well worth it for every time they thought they completely butchered their answers.
Special kudos to fourth place winner Framy, who took this game seriously enough to register their team for that 2-point lead; and to Neptune, who've played King Trivia at our sister locations before, and just so happened to walk into another one!

What a fantastic crowd we had tonight! Everyone initially felt good about Will Smith movies, but were completely stumped on "Winter's Tale." We can't make it too easy for you guys!
The Knights Who Say Ni! took the lead, but they had to work hard to stay ahead to claim that $30 gift card. Team Budlight wasn't feeling so confident in the beginning, but they quickly moved up into second and were happy to take that $20 gift card off my hands. Just For Fun was one measly point behind, but they were happy to have a $10 gift card all the same.
If we were playing by golf rules, Team Jackson would have been the big winner. But to their credit, they were the only team brave enough to bust some moves for a free appetizer, and they earned it!
