Some people attempt to start their New Year off by not eating junk, but going to the gym regularly, by giving up alcohol... your resolution is the best -- you chose to learn something new and exciting every day, and King Trivia is more than happy to help you achieve those goals!
Everyone had at least one round they excelled at, and one round that proved to be challenging AF. M&A and Disney Fam were bested by Tiffany Haddish, while Shooting the "Shiz" (leave it to the kids nearby to suck all the fun out of everything!) knew all things Haddish-esque, giving them a brief lead. Disney Fam knew their superhero movie directors, and Mr. Poopybutthole knew the most about their Lion King connections. But we can all agree we needed to close the "chapter" on Round 3 -- that was tough even for the smartest of cookies!
Some teams gave it their best on the free appetizer/dessert round, where everyone had to give me one-word movie titles! M&A and Shooting the Shiz were bested by "THE Hangover" and "THE Terminator," and Disney Fam even tried playing it safe with Disney movies. But Mr. Poopybutthole was the one to emerge victorious, scoring both a free appetizer/dessert coupon, and the first place winnings! Not a bad start to this year!

Everyone came to eat, and most everyone came to WIN! With Crooks and Goose Boys ducking out early, the stakes were high to see who would take home the free appetizer, the gift cards, and hopefully, a shot at the Tournament of Champions!
We Hate Jake missed the first round, but still stuck it to the bastard by coming out with the girls and having fun anyway! Mr. Poopybutthole had a double-down mishap on their Chevrolet vehicles (damn you, Blazers!), paving the way for newbies Tommy & Jong to take home the third place prize. Tater Tots knew their Lego vehicles, dogs, and statistics to a T, taking home the second place prize AND a free appetizer for winning an intense game of High/Low.
Rain City Bitch Pigeons, on the cusp of Tournament of Champions glory, stressed and sweated their way through a successful Chevrolet vehicle double-down, securing their lead and making it all worth it! They took home $30 and the glory of defeating six other teams on their last week of play. Wishing you luck, my needy, high-maintenance friends!

It was a good night for King Trivia players who knew their TV shows, Bing Crosby, and anything Santa-themed!
The fun came between Eat Me I'm a Danish and Coupon Sisters, who fought all night for that first place spot. Coupon Sisters' biggest vice was probably missing out on the first round, but $20 is still a respectable amount, so I hope to see them back again soon! Stardom took home the bronze, and one of their players, Michelle, was a very helpful elf hosting Round 3!
Special kudos to Fourth Place for coming in fourth place -- maybe call yourselves First Place next time and we'll see what happens!
