This Libra Quizmaster had a blast as eight teams competed for King Trivia. Who Wants to Be a Minionaire came out on top after getting every answer correct in three of the rounds. Cumquats scored 29 points in the final two rounds on the way to second place. Keep My Team Name Out Ya Fuckin' Mouth recovered from unsuccessful Double Or Nothings in the first two rounds to finish in third.

Cumquats also won the Paul McCartney's 80th birthday-themed Drinking Round.

My astrologer predicts more King Trivia at The Oaks Tavern next Wednesday.

Tonight's King Trivia at The Oaks Tavern featured so many lead changes, you'd think it was an awkward high school couple attempting their first dance at the prom. Definitely Not Virgins, Keep My Team Name Out Ya Fuckin' Mouth, and Jizz Taylor all held the lead at some point in the game. I Wish This Microphone Were a Dick were the ultimate winners, thanks to being gassy. I mean they know a lot about about gasses in the periodic table.

Apologies to the team that answered Round 7 with an offer of $50 to say they won. I'm afraid the only bribes I accept are bootleg videos of The Weather Channel from the 1980s.

Even though no one playing King Trivia at The Oaks Tavern accepted their quizmaster's invitation to a C-SPAN3 viewing party, it was a fabulously fun night.

Four different teams held the lead during the game until an undying love of The Lord of the Rings led The Peacocks to victory. Second place went to I Wish This Microphone Were a Dick, and never before have I seen a team take such delight in watching a quizmaster have to repeat their name.

Jizz Claiborne won the Drinking Round thanks to their devotion to Barney the Dinosaur.
