QUIZ RECAP

Ten teams took part at The Oaks this week, along with your substitute Quizmaster Heather.

Chill Pollens and Three Cool Boys had a neck and neck night trading each other for the number one spot, until a successful double or nothing from Pollens in Round 5 helped set their trajectory to first place stardom.

Lucky number Round 5 also brought in a sneak attack from Dilly Dilly, who were consistently in 6th place all game. A successful double or nothing shot them straight to second place where they stayed comfortably until the end, knocking Three Cool Boys to the third place spot.

Dingleberry Farms, Cruisin For A Boozin, Ceviche, Vaxxed Waxed and Crackin Backs, California Dreaming and newcomers Titty Titty Gangbang managed the night with impressive consistency. While Late To The Party was, well, late to the party, they still managed to knock out some points during their play time.

For the drinking round, one participant from each team was asked to place an Oreo on their head and, using only their facial muscles, move the cookie down into their mouth. While everyone gave an amazing effort, Three Cool Boys managed to complete the task in 15 seconds (twice as fast as second place), winning a spin on the drinking wheel for some free Sour Apple shots. Even better, the leftover Oreos provided a great snack for the other players and The Oaks staff.

QUIZ RECAP

With the new earlier start time of 7:30pm, the game launched with 7 teams, but grew as couple teams joined during and after the second round. The competition was fierce, but The Irregardless won by a great lead, followed by Vaxxed, Waxxed and Shopping at TJ Maxx and Three Cool Boys. For the drinking round teams needed to name the two titles and artists in a mash-up song, with Vaxxed getting the most information correct - identifying David Banner, and Paramore's Misery Business -  earning a spin on the wheel, resulting in Strawberry Shortcake shots. 

Join us next week to play, but also to see if this Drinks Wheel makes a comeback or if we return to bartender's choice.

QUIZ RECAP

Wednesday night at The Oaks Tavern was popping with Bacardi samples and lively game of trivia, hosted by Quizmaster Yael. The game started off strong with seven teams landing across the board, including a perfect 12 point score from Atlas Drugged who held onto their lead all night. 

The puppies in the second round got the Quizmaster in the fluffy animals mood so to earn a round of drinks teams were asked to play a round of "Show me your Kitties". Cecivhe ultimately won some shots with a couple of kitties massaging each other.

Eventually Team Rossie merged with Less Awesome, More Sauced, but their collaboration did not prove fruitful. Expectantly, Atlas Drugged took first place, followed by Dilly Dilly and Three Cool Boys.
