It was a fantastic night at The Oaks Tavern with 5 teams playing to win!
The night started off with no one correclty answering all 6 questions in round one, setting a competative tone for the rest of the night. With players of all ages and generations, the picture round stumped most of the teams, but Trivia Rodrigo identified all 8 toys of yore.
After a challenging Guess Where and Find the Connection it was time for a drink! A quick game of Oldest Coin was initiated, and Trivia Rodrigo earned a round of shots with a coin from 1965.
By the 6th round of the night We Always Come From Behind took a steady lead and stayed on top with Rodrigo not too far behind.

April showers bring May trivia!
A bevy of teams showed up to take top prize.
Mr Poppy Butthole guessed the round 4 answer right away, giving them a healthy lead over the other teams, who found themselves stumped when trying to guess James Garfield.
Multiple teams guessed the Baseball Hall of Fame connection on round five, keeping the game close as we headed into the drinking round.
The drinking round asked teams to guess if a list of names belonged to either Tolkien characters or were the names of antidepressants. Dilly Dilly and Dads both got 6/10 right so we moved onto a tiebreaker, which went to Dads! Congrats to Dads on the free drinks!
The night's end brought another tie, as Mr. Poopbutthole and Dads had to guess the height of St. Paul's Cathedral to determine who would win silver and who would win bronze. Champion of tiebreakers, Dads, found themselves victorious again.
The Sneaky Googlers (who despite their name, played a fair and fantastic game) won gold at the end of the night!

Quizmaster Yael subbed in for a boisterous Cinco de Mayo, and due to a bit of technical difficulties, started off the night with the picture round. Most teams easily identified Bowie, Prince, and Jagger but many struggled with Lita Ford. Next the night took us to the Handout before tech issues were fixed and the night could get back on track. The General Knowledge round proved challenging, as did the Guess Who round with only one team identifying the correct soccer player. Surprisingly in the Themed round, many teams knew KFC was a Christmas hotspot in Japan and that Texas was the only place to find a Steak Finger Basket at Dairy Queen.
Dilly Dilly won the drinking round, earning a round of shots, as a well as third place for the night behind Mr. Poopybutthole and Awesome Sauced.
