QUIZ RECAP

Whoa, man alive, 33 Taps  was hoppin' tonight for King Trivia!! The place wasn't full, but it sure felt like it! We had 14 teams, both new and veterans, vying for the top spots this week.  We had both kids in the audience, and the biggest collection of sexually suggestive team names I've ever seen! (and even a naughty word or two in the quiz itself!)

It was... delicate.  But everything went off without a hitch.  Our friend Joe, who is a regular player here on Wednesdays, applied to be a quizmaster himself and stepped in for a round, doing a fantastic job with a very loving crowd.

CJ celebrated his birthday with us and suddenly he had a whole restaurant of friends singing him his birthday song!

Oh, and a pretty awesome quiz! We very nearly had a 3-way tie for first place, if it hadn't been for a strategic miscalculation from the Nine Inch Males.  But as it was,  Murder ended up winning a tie-breaking question to best More Cheese, Less Pants for the top spot.

QUIZ RECAP

It was a fun night of trivia at 33 Taps this week!  New teams mixed it up with the regulars and scores were all over the place with this tough, tough quiz!

With a sports round and a music round, this quizmaster felt pretty inadequate, but Tried & Trivial did not, as they took first place and the largest of two gift certificates.  Second place went to More Cheese, Les Pants, which also happens to be my life credo. Third went to The Newlyweds, who didn't win anything this week, but have been steadily moving up the ranks!

QUIZ RECAP

33 Taps was red white and blue, still celebrating the birth of our nation with trivia, beer and delicious vittles!

We also were eagerly anticipating the return of Game of Thrones with GoT-themed prizes in advance of the season 7 premiere, the GoT-themed King Trivia game, and the GoT viewing parties at 33 Taps!

This week, Bananas Foster was thrilled to take the top spot AND win the drink round, while Fear of Flying snagged second!
