Welcome, welcome, welcome back, this is your King Trivia recap for this week at 33 Taps! New and loyal teams joined us, making it a grand total of 20 teams, here's what went down.

Cheers to Girth Wind and Fire who veeery strategically won the drinking round with the closest answer, literally by a tenth! A pitcher of beer was awarded to them, and a really fun picture of them awarded to us. Once all seven rounds were through, we ended up with the tie at the top of the scoreboard, with The Gazpacho Police and Waiting For Gold elbow-to-elbow at the second/third place threshold. The tie-breaker of 51 points left The Gazpacho Police in third place, and Waiting For Gold in second place. Our tried and true team Reese’s Pieces not only made it on the leaderboard for the first time, but defeated the entire room winning first place with the highest score of the night, 54 points. So proud of you, and always impressed with all of the knowledge everyone brings every Wednesday night. Well done, and congratulations!

At 33 Taps, surrounded by the funnest people in the land, the greatest crew to handle this big fun crowd, and the best game ever thanks to King Trivia, I am the luckiest Quizmaster in the world! A total of 24 teams joined us either for their first time or returned for another chance to win, here's a recap on the leaderboard.

Quizzed In My Pants won the third place prize with a total score of 56 points, and got their first taste of being in the top three, well done! Young, Dumb, and Full of Fun came in second place, so I don't see how dumb they could really be, wokka-wokka. They played magnificently with their final score of 70 points, just two points behind first. Lois and the Argonauts started strong and drifted that way the entire game, with a quick-stop-win during the Drink Round, to the very end with the highest score of 72 points. They missed the feeling of a good win, and it showed as their hard work and focus accomplished obtaining a well-deserved first place title. Congratulations and cheers, everyone!

Well, we did it 33 Taps, we had 30 teams come join us for a fun night of King Trivia, and once again, standing room only. What an honor to host so many of you and what a great time we had Wednesday night, here are the final scores.

Scrotal Recall made re-entry into the joint after not seeing them in a little while, and with 69 points came in third place. With a final score of 73 points The Gazpacho Police claimed second place. The Codependency Crew redeemed themselves, not only making it on the leaderboard, but overtaking it all instead! With a whopping 83 points, they dominated the game, even without the assistance of a double or nothing on Round Seven, and earned their well deserved first place prize. Bolos were awarded a pitcher of beer for guessing the closest answer on the Drink Round, salud! Congrats, and cheers to all!

I was a lucky winner too, at least that's how 33 Taps makes me feel when they serve me their incredibly delicious cauliflower, thank you for spoiling me! A big thank you to everyone for playing, see you next Wednesday, TTFN!
