QUIZ RECAP

King Trivia is back at 33 Taps, and the Silverlake community was ready for it! We had ten amazing teams join us for the fun on our first Wednesday night back since over a year ago. With great prizes up for grabs and a drinking round in between, the players here at 33 Taps played strategically and used double or nothing to their advantage. First place winners, TheRealDevonSawa, finished with 57 points, and received a $20 Gift Certificate for their next visit. America’s Honiest Nut Cheerios came in second place earning a $15 GC with 53 points. By the end of the game TheRealDevonSawa was so impressed with AHN-Cheerios, they admitted breaking a sweat trying to beat them, that they treated AHN-Cheerios to a beer. That's right folks, true sportsmanship right there! In third place came Curieux with 43 points, and were awarded a GC of $10 for their next visit. Team Jane Doe's guessed the closest answer to the drinking round question that won them a pint of beer each! 

It was so nice to be back, I really missed hosting here, and I really look forward to coming back for more King Trivia next Wednesday. Thank you for having us again 33 Taps, until next time!

QUIZ RECAP

Healthy crowd, healthy minds, we made it to the second week of March! In the house of our lovely hosts 33 Taps, we had another joyous game of King Trivia. Returning with a vengeance this week, in first place was Globo-chem, they finished the game with an astounding score of 85! A $20 gift card very well deserved. Not too far behind them with a final score of 82, was Hongin' Tough, whom I recall, won first place last week. So close to a back-to-back- first place win, most impressive! Congrats, they still earned their $15 gift card for their win. The Chia Pets won third place this week, they played a very solid game, a cautious one, but still made to the prize of a $10 gift card. Cheers to our faithful Blue Crew, who won the drinking round! Did you know there are over 7,500 apple varieties all over the world? Well, Blue Crew came the closest to guessing, even at a guess of one-thousand-twenty-something apples. I would never imagine as many as the real answer either! How 'bout them apples?

Congrats, and thank you to our winners and all of our players. You never seize to amaze, and sometimes purposely humor me with your answers. All my love to you all, and 33 Taps, see you next Wednesday!

Gotta start off with a big thank you to everyone for coming back to 33 Taps and your loyalty to King Trivia. It was a smooth cruise through the seven rounds, but for all the winners that doubled down the last rounds, managed to clinch their places successfully. Hongin' Tough had a minor hiccup in the fourth round, but they Hong in there, and shook it off with the confidence to double down the rest of the way home! It earned them the title of first place this week and a $20 gift card for the win. Not too far behind them, only 3 points matter fact, in second place was Tried & Trivial, winning a $15 gift card. Two teams had to fight it out for third, and the tie-breaker went to Bride of Chucky Finster, and they snagged that $10 gift card from Fear of Flying. They were great sports about though, of course. There's always next Wednesday! Same wishes for the rest of the teams. Cheers and congrats to Bae All Day for winning the drinking round, hear hear!
