QUIZ RECAP

What do you get when you add 33 Taps, 17 competative teams, sprinkled with King Trivia, on a Wednesday night? A heck of a good time, that's what! The loyal community of Silverlake filled up the place for delicious food, drinks, and their KT fix. 

Gigi G Unit went full throttle Rounds Five, Six, and Seven and passing the rest, they claimed the third place prize. With a whopping score of 80 points, Gigi G Unit received a $10 GC for their next visit. Curieux and The Codependency Crew had different journeys on their way to victory, but ended up in a tie with a high score of 86 points. With the trusty Round Eight, we were able to break the tie and The Codependency Crew took first place title with a $20 GC attached. They also snagged the pitcher of beer trophy on the Drink Round, double win for The Codependency Crew! Curieux was awarded a $15 GC for their second place win, and reclaimed their spot on the leaderboard. Welcome back, Curieux!

QUIZ RECAP

Welcome back to this week's King Trivia recap at 33 Taps! On this foggy Wednesday we had 17 teams join us for the fun. Team names were funnier than ever, and no wonder, with such clever players filling up the house. There really is something very special about the teams that play at 33 Taps. Loyal to the max! Like, Trey Dongz, I want to give them a shout out. Talk about hanging in there, this team has come in fourth place for the past three weeks in a row. Now that is a strong team! One couldn't do that if they tried. I believe in you, Trey Dongz, keep up the good work! Your win is just around the corner. 

On the leaderboard, all three teams finished with high scores in the 80's. Da Hinterheäûxs played a strong game, and with 83 points, they settled into third place earning themselves a $10 GC for their next visit. Not too far up ahead, with 86 points, Mighty Mart finished in second place and received a $15 GC. Only one point ahead of them, The Gold Ratts, with 87 points claimed the first place title, and were awarded the $20 GC for their next visit to 33 Taps. Both The Gold Ratts and Mighty Mart were mighty confident that they doubled down Rounds Five, Six, and Seven. But it was Round Four when The Gold Ratts took the lead knowing the answer by the first clue. I love a good competition! Well played, everyone!

So nice to be back at 33 Taps after a little break for the NLCS last week. We had twelve amazing teams join us for King Trivia on the spookiest Wednesday of October, ending with really high scores at the top of the scoreboard. Ludaquiz beat the Trey Dongz to the third place prize by one point! With a total of 70 points Ludaquiz earned a $10 GC for their next visit, and busted out with their adorable wrist band sporting their team name for their winner portrait. In second place with a magnificent score of 83 points, Danny Eastside and the M&M received a $15 GC for their triumph. This Wednesday's questions were right up The Codependency Crew's alley! They stole the game with a smokin' score of 90 points, and were awarded a $20 GC for winning first place. Shout out to Boxangeles.com for their victory during the Drink Round, a pitcher of beer was granted for their impressively close answer. Cheers, mates!
