QUIZ RECAP

It is Groundhog Day, but not on a crazy loop or anything like that, no no. It really is a brand new Wednesday with new questions, new teams, and new winners. A total of 26 teams joined us, ending with incredibly tight scores on the leaderboard. Mighty duo, Person Man Woman Camera TV finished in third place with a high score of 76 points. Had team Curieux doubled down on Round One, they would've taken the gold. But they played their cards right and with just one point behind first, Curieux came in second place with 78 points. The persistancy from Trey Dongz cannot be denied! They not only finished in first place with 79 points, but were in the lead the entire game! Sloppy Hoes submitted 2222, an adorable answer for the Drink Round, and won for guessing the closest without going over. Cheers and congrats to all!

Thank you to all players for joining us at the best joint in Silverlake, 33 Taps! Their lightly breaded cauliflower is to die for, highly recommended! This Wednesday I wanted to show off their Garlic Parmesan, I promise you (and me) next week the Buffalo Cauliflower. My mouth is watering already, they truly make it the best! Stay tuned. QUIZ RECAP

On this 26th of January, 26 teams joined us at 33 Taps to play King Trivia! Pretty cool, right? Only three teams can win, and tonight was no exception. Charley’s Angels almost lost faith, but they shook it off and ended up on the leaderboard in third place with a final score of 67 points. Out of the Breying Pan Into the Breyer didn't let Round Four get the best of them, they came back strong and landed in second place with 70 points. Tonya Harding Did Nothing Wrong got a nasty flat tire on Round Five as they doubled down to no avail, but they came back strong and stole two wins for the night. They guessed the closest answer during the Drink Round, and won first place with 72 points. 

A big thank you to all for playing King Trivia at 33 Taps, the best spot in Silverlake! I dined in this time and tried 33 Taps' Chimichurri Bowl with steak, and I have no shame in reporting that not even a single grain of rice was left afterwards. Delightful!

QUIZ RECAP

It is always such a great time playing King Trivia at 33 Taps. Even with 22 teams, it's a very fun and competitively friendly game. The Gandrews are one tough team to beat, that's if they let you! With the highest score of 88 points, they defended their first place title from last week, and earned their $20 GC. In second place, making their 2022 debut Lois and the Argonauts made a great come-back with 80 points, receiving the $15 GC. Oliver Fist really pushed through, no pun intended, and won third place with a great final score of 77 points. Tanya Harding Did Nothing Wrong was awarded a pitcher of beer for their win during the Drink Round, cheers!
