QUIZ RECAP

Another fun night at 33 Taps!  With the Dodgers playing mere blocks away, we all had the game playing on multiple screens while all the chumps who went to Dodger Stadium couldn't even play trivia while they watched the game!  Plus, the food isn't nearly as good.

This was one of the closest games I've seen in a while, and all the teams ended with respectable scores.  At the finish line, though, More Cheese, Less Pants took home another victory, which included a $20 gift card and a gift pack from this week's brewery sponsor.  Second place went to Platonic Anniversary, who got $15 and a swag bag, while this place went to Murder, who trailed by only one point and had to settle for the admittedly cool swag bag.

As for yours truly, Quizmaster Travis Richey, I had new menu items to explore!  My usual Bacon Chicken Caesar Salad was accompanied by the delectable Fish and Chips.  Mmm yum!

Whoa, what a tough night of trivia at 33 Taps this week!  And though there were 10 worthy competitors, Leiderhosen Me Off snagged an early lead and never let it go!  They were awarded a $20 gift certificate for their brilliance.  Second place went to Risky Quizness who got $15.

The top three teams also got some pretty nifty swag from this week's sponsor, including shirts, glass mugs, a portable cooler and more!

As for yours truly, quizmaster Travis Richey, I've been making my way through the appetizer menu, and this week I went with the Pulled Pork Sliders, which were SO tasty.  Main dish was the Bacon Chicken Caesar Salad, which I'm pretty sure is not my regular thing, because, you know, healthy. 🙂

QUIZ RECAP

We had a record night at 33 Taps this week, with 14 teams vying for the top spot!  And it was not easy, but MURDER ran away with the game, taking an early lead and never letting it go.  These guys are surely gunning for a seat a the Tournament of Champions, but they're going to have to decide which 6 players they take...

In second place for the smaller of two gift certificates, Bananas Foster took it home, but the top thee teams also received prize packs supplied by this week's sponsor, Angel City Brewery.  Cool sunglasses, comfy t-shirts and a water bottle went to the three top teams.

If we reach 15 teams, we get to add another prize level, so the top 3 teams will all get gift certificates!  Join us next week and make it happen!  We still have plenty of room.

And the food... Besides the to-die-for skillet cookies (ala mode, of course), Quizmaster Travis Richey has been trying out something new from the menu every night. Tonight it was the Bacon Mac & Cheese and the Bacon & Chicken Caesar Salad. YUM.
