Wednesday nights at 33 Taps for King Trivia is the place to be! The good ol' days are here again, thanks to everyone playing it safe so we can still have fun and keep healthy. Thank you to the incredible 20 teams that played with us this week, we loved having you for your first time, and loved to having you here again. With so many loyal teams returning for a chance at the prizes, like The Gang Does Trivia, Drawing a Blank, Boom-Still Got It, and Boxangeles.com, it was a packed house once again, and barely any elbow room in the final scores. 

Here's where we ended our game this week: Quizteama Aguilera finished in third place with 63 points, just one point ahead of returning Trey Dongz! They received a $10 GC for their valiant effort. In second place, the team to beat, the mysterious crew of two sitting  in the corner, Curieux! They won a $15 GC with an outstanding score of 75 points, way to go team! Now, you see that teensy-weensy dot over there towards the horizon? Yeah, that's Lois and the Argonauts all the way up there in first place with 92 points. They played relentlessly and used their double or nothings like no one's business! They received a $20 GC for their epic triumph, it's not easy getting past 90 points. Well played Lois, well played! Shout out to the ladies from Blok Party who guessed the closest answer and received a pitcher of beer for their team during our Drink Round. Cheers, ladies!

It was an honor to run a silent King Trivia game at 33 Taps this Wednesday. The house was full, and I mean packed full of Dodger fans enjoying the Wild Card Playoff, and boy was it worth it! The Dodgers won, and three fabulous teams, out of eleven, won a prize for all their smarts and strategy.

Our loyal M&M team showed up for their KT fix, and while they played it safe, they heard Round Seven calling and doubled down to push them right up to win third place! They finished with 59 points and were awarded a $10 GC, well played ladies! The Gooseness were ready to double down by the first round, and although they missed one, they picked their pace back up by Round Four. It was double or nothing for the rest of the rounds to follow, and they finished in second place with a high score of 81 points, earning them a $15 GC. Cheers ladies! Slow and steady Scortal Recall paved their path straight to first place. Knowing the answer by the first clue on Round Four gave them the boost they needed to double down Rounds, Five, Six, and Seven. With an extrodinary score of 88 points they snatched that first place title and received a $20 GC. Congratulations to all!

Thank you for coming back for the last recap of September! We had a packed house at 33 Taps this Wednesday, tons of smarts and loads of fun. Returning teams came with a vengence and their eyes on the prize. The Codependency Crew wasn't having it after last week, and with a smokin' final score of 85 they took first place. Not very far behind with an impressive score of 81, and joining us for the first time, in second place was Lois and the Argonauts. Our loyal Hossier Mamas came back after a little break, and with full confidence got towards the top of the scoreboard and with 71 points landed in third place. I had a rough night trying to sleep after I realized I did not take a winning portrait of the Hossier Mamas, I'll have to make up for that somehow next week.

Freaks and Geeks won the Drink Round by breaking the tie guessing to the closest tenth. Drinks all around team, cheers! And what a better way to end our King Trivia game than with the Dodgers winning too! Go Dodgers!
