A rollicking round of ego checking it was as our teams this week met with a few categories out of their wheelhouses, but some still were able to rise above their shortcomings with a few well-placed double-downs.

Round 1 saw leaders Jump forth, as "There's always next week" and "The Oxymorons" doubled-down successfully, pulling away from the crowd, and forshadowing their podium wins. Round 2 kept everyone close together, but three teams pulled ahead in Round 3 with double downs.

Rounds 4 and 5 saw the leaders begin to pull away, but only by one or two points. Round 6, however began to seal fates as goose eggs began to be lain and a Game-changing 20 point double-down for Tequila Mocking birds rocketed them into contention that they sealed in round 7, which due to some errant hashtags, did little to change the standings. "There's always next week", "Tequila Mockingbirds", and "The Oxymorons" took the podium in descending order.

Round one started off with a bang and three teams successfully doubling down. Not to be outdone, FIVE teams doubled down successfully in round two, but the trend would not hold and only lone teams would successfully double-down in subsequent rounds. Round four proved there is still a lot of love for Adele, with an average score of 7.

Round Five went well for most teams, and a few of them even figured out "duck ". Rounds six and seven saw more attempts at doubling-down, and one success from "Snow White Walkers", redeeming their Round Two goose egg, but not bringing them close enough to beat "Tequila Mockingbirds", "There's Always Next Week, and "Running With Caesars" who came in first, second, and third place, respectively.

 

Also notable are "Raise Your Hand If You're Pretty and "The Oxymorons", who- despite being seated in different areas of the bar and not having met- not only tied their games, but tied every individual round, as well.

It was a great time, filled with REGISTERED TEAMS. Probably becasue they want a shot at $10,000 during this current season of League Play.

Round 1 was spectacular with teams scoring either 5 or 12 points, successful double-downs abound! Round 2 kept all teams within a point of eachother and round 3 repeated a double-down split with teams either missing one or successfully doubling-down! Round 4 saw a little trepidation, but "the Kid's Table" now gets to put Tombstone on their to-watch list, so that's fun.

Round 5 saw "Running with Caesars" leap into the lead being the only team to successfully double-down. A lead which they would hold through until the end.
