Quite a game on Tuesday!
Spoiler Alert: Three teams TIED for first place - something I haven't seen before!
Tequila Mockingbirds were in the lead for the majority of the game until Round 7 where they unsuccessfully doubled. That allowed Free Smoke who successfully doubled and Our Backs Hurt to catch up.
Free Smoke guessed the correct answer on the dot for the tie breaking question. Our Backs Hurt was next closest, and Tequila Mockingbirds after that.
The Babysitters Club won the drinking round by guessing there were 5,000 rooms in the MGM Grand. (It really has 5,044 rooms).
Next week should be just as much fun!

QUIZ RECAP
What a game! We had the best turn out since back after Covid, and everyone was ready to battle!
Everyone started off pretty even in round 1, but Pineapple Hillbillies started off stronger with a double. It was in Round 2 where Gazpacho doubled that they jumped the the front. Another successful double in round 5 solidified their first place win.
Just one point behind them was Free Smoke, who doubled successfully in rounds 5 and 6.
Pineapple Hillbillies doubled in rounds 1 and 5, but it wasn't enough to be first and so they came in 3rd only 3 points behind.
For the drinking round, Mr. Clean Drinks Listerine guessed my soon-to-be-age on Thursday (Happy Bday to me, lol).

Quiz Kid Donnie Smith was in the lead most of the game thanks to a successful double down in round 2. However, other teams doubled with bigger points and they ended in third.
Free Smoke came up from behind to take second after two successful double downs the last 2 rounds.
Beers for Queers was on fire last night with successful double downs the last 3 rounds which helped them win the game.
