The Night started off with a splash, but after we cleaned that up, teams did moderately well, with a mode of 4. The second round was a little higher scoring, by percentage, but way higher by points, with more opportunities to rack them up!

Round 3 slowed things down a little with less possible scores, and less confidence, but Drake Wheeled through everyone's minds early and most teams had it by the second clue, scoring 8 points. After a brief respite in the drinking round, teams were back again, vainly trying to capture the theme for round 5, yet only one would score all 10 right and be able to successfully chance that double-down.

Round 6 was pleasingly high scoring and this quizmaster's faith in our teams history and linguistic knowledge was restored, just under half the teams scored successful doubles. It was round 7, though where teams brought out their best classic whodunit experience, searching every room for a Clue. There's Always Next Week, Nailing their third-in-a-row double down, adding to their previous success, Rocketed even higher, scoring an astounding 95 points, and winning the night.

• We had a nice down home time at this local spot for some trivia, and replaced the usual background screen's sportsball games with Competitive show Dogs!

Half the teams doubled in round 1, which made for a thrilling start. The scores tipped a little with no double attempts in 2, and a lack of confidence saw a dramatic decrease in the average in round 3.

Teams sure knew their Walking Dead biographical information and Rick Grimes led the way to a quick and plentiful round 4. Round 5 was surprisingly well pointed, but it was 6 that stunned the scorekeepers as nearly every team had a perfect answer rate - however, less of them attempted doubles and some pulled far and away. The final round was rife with double-attempts but not all were fated to land, and the night was won by There's Always Next Week with an astounding 92 points!

Disparate beginnings this Tuesday, as two teams successfully doubled, yet the rest came in rather low on the point scale. None to worry, the first round is more of a warm up, anyway!

Round 2 was a little more forgiving as teams pigged out with their favourite characters. The third round might as well have been a wash, with not one, not two, not even three, but six teams successfully doubling-down!

The next round had a rather average feel about it, with a nice bell curve forming in anticipation of round 5's connection search. Few teams were able to make the leap, and only "There's Always Next week" were able to secure the double, shooting them into contention.

Round 6- and perhaps some divine intervention- boosted everyone's confidence just enough to raise hopes for round 7 which dashed them harshly to the ground with an unexpected spike in difficulty. This week's Champions, continuing their trend, hailed their competition from the top of the podium.
