QUIZ RECAP

All teams but X Blades doubled in Round 1. 

Round 2 saw doubles by There’s Always Next Week and Tequila Mockingbirds who became tied for first. 

Tequila Mockingbirds was the only team to double Round 3, putting them solidly in the lead. 

Highest score in Round 4 “Guess What” was 6 points by the awesome-named Ted Lasso of Truth. 

For the drinking round, we played “Name That Tune - 50’s Edition”. It was down to Tequila Mockingbirds and Pineapple Thrill, and Tequila won. 

In Round 5, There’s Always Next Week Should have doubled. No one else did double. 

Pineapple Thrill, There’s Always Next Week, Go Blue all doubled Round 6, putting Pineapple Thrill and There’s Always Next Week up near Tequila Mockingbirds at the top. 

An unsuccessful double in Round 7 dropped Tequila Mockingbirds to 3rd place. While one-man team Pineapple Thrill took 2nd and There’s Always Next Week came in 1st.

QUIZ RECAP

In Round 1, Oxymorons, Free Smoke, There’s Always Next Week, and Tequila Mockingbirds doubled.

Round 2, X Blades doubled, coming back from their unsuccessful double in Round 1 and finally breaking zero with double digits. Go Blue! Also doubled, propelling them into first. 

Kids’ Table was the only team to double Round 3, but Go Blue! Remained barely in the lead. 

For the drinking round, I showed a picture of some cocktails my friend made up. The teams had to come up with spooky Halloween names for them. The winning team was the Tequila Mockingbirds.  

Round 5 saw doubles by Oxymorons, Tequila Mockingbirds, and Free Smoke who took the lead. 

Round 6, X Blades, There’s Always Next Week, Tequila Mockingbirds, There’s Always Next Week, and Oxymorons doubled. 

Round 7 saw impressive doubles by X Blades, Free Smoke, Oxymorons and There’s Always Next Week.

In Round 1, Tequila Mockingbirds, Make It So, There’s Always Next Week and Hip Hops all doubled. 

Tequila Mockingbirds were the only team to double Round 2, putting them in a major lead. 

No one doubled round 3 

Round 4 saw several teams get it on 8 points. Unfortunately, Oxymorons took a gamble on the first clue and lost a point. 

For the drinking round, we did Alcohol/sports puns in honor of the Dodger’s win. There were so many good ones. Personal favorites included: “Sex on the Beach Volleyball”, “Slam Drunk”, “Relief Pitcher of Beer”. But an impartial judge picked (and my personal favorite as well) “Kareem Abdul JaBARTAB.” Tequila Mockingbirds were the winners. 

Tequila Mockingbirds, There’s Always Next Week, Free Smoke, Kids Table all doubled Round 5. 

Round 6 was tricky for most teams, the highest score was 7 out of a possible 20 points. 

In Round 7, Free Smoke doubled, propelling them into 2nd place. There’s Always Next Week stayed solid and took 3rd. And the Tequila Mockingbirds should have doubled, but even without that still won the game.
