Grunions Sports Bar & Grill is a South Bay local landmark. It’s been a local’s favorite spot to watch any major (and even minor) sporting event while eating the best pub food around. It all started in 1974 when Grunions Sports Bar & Grill opened its doors in Manhattan Beach, CA. The mission then, as it is today, was to provide a place where people can go and enjoy great food and drinks while cheering on their favorite sports teams, in a comfortable (and family friendly) environment where everyone is treated like a regular even if it’s their first visit. Although it was a pretty quiet and more laidback night, the scores were neck to neck the entire time, with Quiz Whalifa winning by 1 point, and The other Bar and Team Plutonium tied for Second. The other bar won the tie breaker by guessing a number relatively closer to the actual number of episodes but in reality about 4100 episodes off from 895.

Second trivia night of the year started off with Team Plutonium doubling. The other teams were not too far behind. Jennifer Aniston and her work wasn't enough to throw them off their game. Daddy was able to double and take the lead, but the last round saw Team Plutonium double and take the win.

Today's trivia was filled with Bonuses. The first team to turn in their rounds got a bonus point. Started with Quiztopher Walken leading until most teams successfully doubled rounds 6 and 7 and caught up. This trivia also saw one of the more painful and hardest connections which no team was able to get. Despite all ups and downs, team plutoniam won both the drinking round and trivia for the night.
