About Grunions Sports Bar & Grill

Grunions Sports Bar & Grill is a South Bay local landmark. It’s been a local’s favorite spot to watch any major (and even minor) sporting event while eating the best pub food around. It all started in 1974 when Grunions Sports Bar & Grill opened its doors in Manhattan Beach, CA. The mission then, as it is today, was to provide a place where people can go and enjoy great food and drinks while cheering on their favorite sports teams, in a comfortable (and family friendly) environment where everyone is treated like a regular even if it’s their first visit. It was a packed house and a bit of a Trivia Reunion tonight as 5 regular teams were back AND all placed in the top ranks. Congrats to Quiztopher Walken on the win by a milestone. Daddy and The other Bar was full were playing neck to neck with Daddy placing third. Congrats to Quiztopher Walken for winning the drinking round as well by naming every Tom Hanks movie possible! Cheers to the bartenders, they were champs today!

The night started of with Daddy taking the lead and everyone trying to catch them up. During the second round Daddy was able to double cementing their lead throughout the night. Round 5 saw Quizwhalifa double and catch up to Daddy. Ultimately, Daddy was able to keep the lead and beat the rest of the teams.

Tonight was a close game. First round saw five of the six teams double, while the second round saw four of the six teams double. Drinking round saw the participants play "Bring Me" where they were asked to quickly bring common items. Friends of Daisy was able to double successfully the last round and secure the win.
