Grunions Sports Bar & Grill is a South Bay local landmark. It’s been a local’s favorite spot to watch any major (and even minor) sporting event while eating the best pub food around. It all started in 1974 when Grunions Sports Bar & Grill opened its doors in Manhattan Beach, CA. The mission then, as it is today, was to provide a place where people can go and enjoy great food and drinks while cheering on their favorite sports teams, in a comfortable (and family friendly) environment where everyone is treated like a regular even if it’s their first visit. Memorizing baby animal names is always a great idea because it seems like at least once a year we put you to the test. The teams at Grunions did pretty well and I even gave credit to the team who guessed a baby skunk is called a Lil Stinker.

A few teams moved around the bar from their normal tables this week. They hoped their new locations would shake off the bad juju and help them cruise to an easy win... that was until the matching round. The locations of international museums were not anyone's specialty tonight and the Number Team fell just shy of a prize by one point.
