When Dirteus, God Of Mud, did a back flip into the swamp and got Persephone's dress all dirty, she didn't immediately call him a jerk face. First, she closed her eyes in quiet disdain. Then, she gave an almost imperceptable smile as she realized her instincts were and always had been correct: Dirteus would make an awful husband. "Sorry," he said, as he stumbled back to shore, "went too fast." "Dirteus?" asked Persephone. "Yes?" answered Dirteus. "What color was Stretch Armstrong's hair?" And Dirteus answered: "The cartoon version or the doll?" And Persephone was like: "What does it matter?" And Dirteus was all: "Well, if you got asked that at a trivia night, you would want to know the difference." And Persephone thought: "You know, I'm never gonna marry this guy, but at least he might be a good trivia host." An exchange like this NEVER happened at the Glendale Tap on King Trivia night. Let's talk.

Did Will Farrell show up? If you count all the people doing impressions of him for the Drinking Round, then yes! The winner was so good I can't even remember who it was! Free drinks!

In third place with a score of 47 points was 3rd Stringers. In second place with a score of 48 points was Eaters Don't Eat Eaters. And taking the night, as a force of one, was Swiper No Swiping with 54! He sat apart! I suggested he call himself A Man Apart, but no dice! Glendale Tap always brings the competition when it comes to trivia night! The teams were all gunning for that top spot but played it safe when it came to double-or-nothing's. With some stumpers in rounds two and four, we quickly found out that this bunch is not full of avid dog show viewers or video game hackers. Even with some challenging questions in the matching round, nothing seemed to deter these players from giving it their all down to the last second. Thanks to our pals who gave impressions a try this week, we can't wait to see what you have to offer next week at 7:30 right here in Glendale!

When Glominex, God Of Dust, emerged from his cave seeking a pencil, he happned on a small casserole full of some kind of noodle dish. He didn't have to ask who would be preparing their meals out in the hinterlands; he knew it was Dalia, Goddess Of Pasta. He knew her style, her ways, and her insartiable crush on him. "I said I'm not interested, Dalia!" Glominex roared to the heavens, knowing she'd hear him. "Give this to Pan. A god with a name like his would appreciate a dish like this." She responded, from behind a tree: "He said no thanks. He's watching his carbs." Glominex screamed and ran back into his cave for another thousand years where it was safe. If you'd like to know what Glendale Tap was like on Wednesday night, it was nothing like the preceding story.

In first place was James Blunt, in second was The Moops and in third was Queen Bees. 62 to 61 to 57. Straight up.
