What an amazing night at the White Harte! We had some awesome teams with awesome team names... One team even brought a team sign! Battling it out tonight were Bangers and Mash, Shoeshiners, Doors and Sardines, Periodic Table Dancers, Dingo Daycare and Harambe's Daycare! You guys... The duel of inappropriate daycares! How perfect is that!?
In tonight's "Alternative Fact Finder" drinking round, I told teams 10 "facts" about myself and they had to determine which were true or false. Shoeshiners and Dingo Daycare tied with 7 out of 10! I had to let Lady Luck decide the winner an had each roll a die, highest roll winning. Dingo Daycare came out on top!
In our actual trivia game Shoeshiners came in 3rd place, DUUUUDE they had a team sign! Complete with the King Trivia logo! that might be copyright infringement but I don't care, those guys are awesome!
Tonight's double winners, claiming victory in the drinking round and 2nd place, Australia's lowest Yelp rated babysitting service Dingo Daycare! (They wanted to be photographed after each win, and I am nothing but accomedating.)
Tonight's 1st place winners Doors and Sardines! (Which I think is a theater term due to my google search. Yes when I can't make an obvious pun about your name, I google it! I told you guys tonight, they didn't hire me because I'm smart, it's the voice.) Anyway, they packed the house full of KNOWLEDGE with a double down in round 5 that cliched the lead!

In tonight's drinking round "mhmm that's sure one hot tater hmm" (in BillyBob Thornton's voice from Slingblade) Yeah, it's what it sounds like, we played hot potato! The Room Moms put aside PTA responsibilities for the night and got their drink on!
Coming in 3rd were the Denim Daddies! ...Is that thing I'm unaware of? Like leather daddies but in jeans?

Tonight's winners Desperate Double Downs lived up to their name in round 1 (although, I know they were confident A F) giving them the lead for all but 1 round of play and tonight's crown!

I love the feeling of walking out from the back room where The White Harte has trivia and seeing that've I've got over 5 times as many people playing than there are at the bar! It's one of the reasons I love this show so much! We crammed 45 borderline geniuses in that little room! With teams of 2 beating out teams of 6 and 8!
We went classic drinking game with our drinking round and played quarters, I gave a representative from each team a buck to see how many George Washingtons they could sink into an oversized shot glass. Matt from Baby Names Got Back was 2nd up and the only player to sink one!
Coming in 3rd since they turned in their pen (worth 2 bonus points in my games) literally a few seconds too late (right after I had written the rankings down) The Mildlings, like the Willings but a little more polite and with less crazy red hair and fewer giants.
Claiming 2nd by 1 point, Tenders & Thai Sauce! I'm sure the victory was as delicious as their name, a flavor only rivaled by the fabled Schezwan sauce Rick Sanchez is obsessed with! *Insert Rick & Morty Theme Quiz plug here! It's gonna be awesome!*
