Good thing the A/C worked at the White Harte tonight! Not only was it warm like the inside of a rhino, but my players were on FIIIIIIIRRRREEEE! We almost had a tie for 3rd, but "Calamine Lotion" remembered to apply weekly my rule of: Your pen is worth 2 points and clenched a spot in the winner's circle. In 2nd was "Toes & Knuckles" ...Hmmm... Would those be of the camel and moose varieties respectively? A quizmaster can only guess. Taking home 1st place, my long time regulars "Sleep Apnea Assassins" snuck in with a deadly double down in the final round! "Quizlamic State" claimed victory in our "Squat & Drop" drinking round where I had representatives from each team hold a quarter between their knees and drop it into a cup without stopping! It's as hard as it sounds, we had to go for 2 rounds!

Scraping through the muck and eating strange things (well maybe, I wasn't watching what they ordered. Maybe round 2 got them hungry for Escargot.) "Survivors" took home 3rd place! Coming in 2nd, was "Adam's Favorite Team... Adam's Mom's Favorite Team... Adam's Cat's Favorite Team...Adam's Favorite Metal Band's Favorite Team...Adam's Left Foot's Favorite Team" ... ... ... Obviously they are NOT my favorite team. I love you, but DAMN!
Unfortunately for our BIG winners the "Aardvarks In Literature" there were no aardvark related questions... But there were literature related questions, so they rocked and took home 1st place... AAAAAND they also won tonight's "Never have I ever" drinking round with "never have I ever smoked marijuana." She only had 1 opponent at the moment, but if she had gone first....

What a fun night Tuesday was at The White Harte Pub on Tuesday night for King Trivia! The tables were full of players ready for some more brain activating questions! Quizmaster Danny filled in again, there was even a BABY there! Did I mention the baby was on one of the winning teams?! No? Ok here we go....
Team Cierra Squad (Cierra was the Baby y'all!) came in third with 38 points. How did that baby do that?! But in all seriousness, Cierra did not make a peep the entire night! Couldn't believe it!
In second was a team without a baby, Tenders & Thai Sauce with 45 points.
And last but not least, in first place, The Regulators, mounted up and rode their way to victory with a whopping 65 POINTS! 2 succesful double downs paved their way to the top.
For the drinking round, teams had to pick a player to see who could move a solo cup from the top of a stack of other solo cups, to the bottom and back up to the top again the fastest. A former "Minute to Win It" game, team Don't Panic didn't panic at all and finished the challenge in a blazingly fast 22 seconds! Whew!
